Great modern atmosphere and cozy booths! The food was great, especially the dessert. It is expensive but worth it! I’d recommend going a little earlier if you have a large party. I was staying with the Boston Park plaza and it was very easy to get in from the hotel lobby.

This upscale Italian place hit all the marks for us at our birthday dinner this weekend. It was fancy but approachable, with a relaxed atmosphere and none of the shrill shrieking that characterizes a typical outing in Boston these days. Even large parties of 10 or more people behave themselves admirably. Service was polished and confident, and never intrusive, and the food was outstanding. My veal Milanese was one of the best I’ve had, and I have to say the portion sizes were just a tad too generous so be careful when you order appetizers!

Very Bad experience in this property. Asked for a grilled veal in bone with tomato, parmesan, and Spagetti. (Option 2 in the menu) They served within 5 minutes !!!! an old milanese (which I didn’t order) soaked in tomato sauce with overcooked Spagetti also soaked in tomato sauce. At least the Spagetti should be aldente in an Italian restaurant, but they were simply disgusting I am a gastronomy and hospitality professional from Switzerland working for 40 years in this business. Nobody in Switzerland and even less in Italy would eat what has been served here. The waiters insisted that nothing was wrong with the meal. Bon appetite to them

Honestly thought we were walking in to a “hotel restaurant” for cocktails and appetizers. Totally caught off guard by how good all of it was. Turned out to be one of the better meals of our trip. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was pleasant and prompt. Just overall impressed.

We stopped at Strega for dinner before Hamlet play. It was very lovely atmosphere, quiet, right light and amazing service and food. I would, definitely, recommend this place for romantic events and people who want to talk/not scream. 🙂 BTW, I think Strega has one of the best tiramisu in Boston. 🙂
