In town on business from Detroit. Looked up local fair and found some great places. Stricks being one of them. I gotta say it did not disappoint overall. Went twice in a 2 week span. Ordered the combo with bouban pecan Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese,cornbread. With a slice of their strawberry white cake. Was very good. Some of the items were a Lil over done. Not terrible. 2nd trip ordered the same with a slice of pecan pie. I would definitely recommend. Than pecan pie. Total bliss. Overall the food was pretty damn good. Honey bbq is king out of the sauces. Customer service did vary for me. But a great experience, will be back again if I get the chance. That pecan pie doe.

First time here – loved the atmosphere- was slightly disappointed. Wasnt that hungry for lunch and so I thought I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich with a dollop of coleslaw and a side of beans. What I got was a brisket platter disguised as a sandwich. Points off for the fact I had to remove some meat so I could eat it as a sandwich. The amount of coleslaw was basically a ‘side’ of slaw. The brisket bark was terrific and the slices were moist an tender. Didn’t need a lot BBQ sauce if any. All Very Tasty. I was forced to eat more than I wanted. My buddy got the brisket platter, fried okra i tried was terrific. We shall return.

Ordered online. Got the combo plate, chicken, sausage, ribs, and brisket with the spicy sauce, banana pudding, and Mexican cornbread. Very pleased with the price and the portion. Will definitely order again.

We’ve been going here for ribs and pulled pork forever and it’s so good, the meat is not dried out, you have a large choice of side dishes, and desserts not to mention all the meat options. Stricks will make you hungry the minute you drive up to the resturant. If you like southern bbq, this is the place for you.

Now this probably the most southern, southern food I’ve had and I’m southern. Like like every grandma in town was back there cooking. The buffet was excellent and the ribs where pretty good, not fall off the bone kind but I’m not complaining considering they’re part of the buffet. I will be back.

Totally into the environment as this BBQ spot looks legit and the staff is top notch. Placed my order and grabbed samples of their 3 sauce options on the way to the table. Their spicy option is the best of the three. The Carolina sauce is decent, but not exactly Carolina style. Maybe Carolina adjacent? Their regular sauce is very sweet. Didn’t care for it.

All of the food I have had thus far has been pretty great. I had sausage once and it was completely dry. I have the banana pudding which is my favorite, but they only put two vanilla wafers and it is way too much putting for just two vanilla wafers and two small pieces of banana. Overall the food is great.
