Avoid. I ordered two dishes — in one case (chicken) the portion was so small it was gone in a couple bites. Advertised asparagus was from a jar & in tiny bits. In the other case (salmon), I was eating around processed or raw parts. They are quick to defend against bad reviews and swear that the customer is who’s always wrong. What they can’t argue is the fact that their vegetables (served atop store-bought powdered mashed potatoes) were uncooked and starting to turn. Focaccia is OK but cold comfort after spending $40 on distasteful food. Something stinks in Carmichael.

I’m so disappointed in this restaurant. It used to be so good. Not anymore. Last night we tried it again and now we are so done. My pork dish was so over cooked it was like leather and tasted like warmed over meat. Their salad used to be wonderful. Last night it was not so good. There was one cherry tomato cut in two, two croutons, a few raisins and lettuce. The dressing was still good. When we told them it wasn’t good they gave us a 10% discount. Whoopee! $3.95. I’m sorry but we won’t be back and we’ve been going there long before they moved. I know new ownership but…. The service was very good.

They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for charging $20 for this. This was shrimp scampi (without pasta) and was a total rip off. I ordered off of Uber Eats so unfortunately I was unable to see the amount of food that was given prior to ordering.

This was disgusting and very disappointing! Over $17 of frozen gross food. Before I even left the parking lot I took the fried ravioli back. It was burnt and dry…gross. The lady stated that yes they were “crispy” and offered to make some “less crispy”. I opted for the shrimp antipasta as a cheaper substitution from frozen fried ravioli. This was just as disgusting. I aso had the bruschetta which was a 3 out of 5. The lady took 74 cents off my bill. Not like the old Strings. Very disappointed. Will never go back. $17 in these times is a lot of money for burnt frozen food.

Fantastic! Just as good as I remember. I used to go to the Strings in Elk Grove before it closed and it was one of my favorite restaurants. This easily lived up to the memory. Our waiter, Freddy, was very nice and was a great server despite being the only server working at the time. The wait wasn’t any longer than you’d expect at any restaurant. The food was great. Both of the entrees that we got were very tasty and you can never deny their salad and bread. The best! I will be returning here for sure.

I ordered a dish of lasagna from DoorDash and when I receive my order it was fettuccine Alfredo and not lasagna so I reached out to the establishment not wanting a refund just to inform them that I received the wrong food. I later received a phone call from the owners daughter stating that she can refund me the lasagna but she cannot refund me the salad and bread that came with my order because it was complementary. I was fine with just receiving the lasagna as a refund until she informed me that the salad and the bread was complementary and I will not receive that as part as my refund. This is where my review comes in if you called me because I had an error with my order to accommodate services you would think that a company would add a side salad and bread that is complementary. put the icing on the cake is when I asked her if her father would’ve just been like give her the salad and the bread let’s just satisfy the customer she told me no my father is the owner I already discussed this with him and he told me just to give you the lasagna and nothing else that is where they lost my business . Let’s just say they will not be getting my business again all behind a side salad and some bread.
