Local fav!! Get the catfish! Breaded and seasoned well with a nice light crunch! The coleslaw had a subtle sweetness and the fries were hot n crunchy. Popcorn shrimp was good and I enjoyed the corn nugget they were more savory w hints of sweetness. Bake beans reminded me of old school pork n beans. I look forward to going back and trying breakfast as well!

We enjoyed a good breakfast. The Diner Special is just right for small appetites. The western omelet was one of the best we’ve ever had. The coffee was great. They did run out of biscuits by 10 am, so we ended up with toast. The downside is that the gravy is cream gravy, not sausage gravy, so biscuits and gravy is a disappointment. It’s the South, y’all. Why no sausage?

Very quaint place. Homey and friendly. Ordered cheese eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, and biscuits & gravy. All were delicious . Good coffee. Very wide parking lot. Was able to get in and out safely in and out with a sleeper and a 53. I’m looking forward to getting the catfish next time.

I love eating at Stroud’s every time I’m in town visiting friends. I can only speak to the breakfast because that’s all I ever get but dang, it’s delicious! The fried pork chop is a must add to any of their breakfast options.

Got the lunch special; coating on chicken strips was good. Everything was tasty and service terrific and Friendly. Had a big gravel lot next to main lot that we pulled in with our camper.

Waited for over 45 mins from the time we ordered. Omelet was cold as was the gravy. Biscuits were hard like they had been sitting out for a while. Hash browns were more of a mushy hash as there was no brown and were cold. Told the cashier the food was cold and not good and she didn’t even reply, just took my money and moved on. Overall a complete disappointment and will not be back.

Such a great restaurant to dine at. The breakfast is incredible, make sure you show up in time before they switch over to lunch. Not that, you’re missing out on good food. Lunch is outstanding as well. Wonderful staff, such a great environment to gather in.

We had their delicious roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes, green beans and fried okra. I love fried okra done well and Strouds does everything very well. Their meals are like Mom’s home cooking only Mom wishes hers were as delicious. Fast, friendly service, and the meal arrived within 10 minutes. Yum!
