The staff was friendly & attentive, & the food was absolutely fantastic! Huge portions & never an empty glass. The 4th of July beef tips special was delicious…their cornbread was super good & my husband annihilated his open-faced turkey sandwich. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their popcorn shrimp & baby flounder as well. Everyone left stuffed & happy, & we had plenty of leftovers to take with us. We will be back to try breakfast on Saturday on our way back home!

We’ve been going here for years. Breakfast lunch and dinner. All of the food I’ve tried here is delicious!! My daughter absolutely loves the chicken tenders here and she prefers them to any other place she’s been lol. I love the food the people are always friendly. I definitely recommend this sweet country cooking type food restaurant.

First time I ever have eaten here. But it was great. 5 of us in our party that night. No one got even one thing that warranted any complaints. Drink glasses stayed full. Constantly checked to make sure we didn’t need anything. Can’t wait till I’m back in that area again at mealtime.

I was visiting family in Stuart and came in at 11am on a Saturday. Walked in and there were 2 women and 2 younger high school age girls hanging by the register talking. Stood there for over 5 mins before they acknowledged me and one finally walked over and took me to a seat. There were people sitting at 4 other tables, so the restaurant was pretty empty. The waitress (one of the ones hovering at register when I came in) after a few minutes came over and refilled drinks at a table 3 booths over from me, never acknowledged me or said I will be with you in a minute or anything. Sat there for another 5 minutes and a man walked in and just sat down. He must have been a regular because the waitress went and made a drink for him and took it straight over. Sat there for another minute or two with no acknowledgement at all and then just got up and walked out. I can’t tell you about their food, but the service is the absolute worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

This was the first time we had gone to SFR. Funny thing, when I googled it, it actually showed a pic of Hardee’s which was across the street. Weird, huh?! Anyway, this is in the same place as the old Tex-BBQ used to be.
