These chicharrones freaked us out, they didn’t look or smell right. Straight to the trash.. the rest of the food was good But this looked like it was pitbull meat or something other than pork!

This used to be one of my favorite spots. Lately they are over priced and the portions are lacking. I can under stand increase in price. But shouldn’t we still get the same portions? Ordered a #7 and got mostly potatoes and lettuce. Only the bottom corner had carne adovada. Not worth $8.07 at all. Disappointing. I hope they get better soon because I grew eating here. Probably won’t be back for while.

We have always loved Stuffies. You got to stick with their stuff sopapillas. All of the stuffed sopapillas are delicious. We tried to guacamole for the first time and it was not impressive. The taquitos were okay. We have never liked to the tacos. The thing that was really disappointing about this location was the line. They are not open inside the dining area. It is ridiculous that they are not. It was fun to go in there. Surely, covid hasn’t made this place change so drastically that they have to be closed inside the dining area. Since the dining area was closed the line to get your order is so long. You have to wait forever and it takes so long to get your food. If you go there, you better not be in a rush to get back to work or a different event. Even if you call in your order, you still have to wait in that long line that takes a very long time. I just now noticed that Stuffy’s closed their location on Sunset. I sure do hope that they don’t close down this location or all of their locations.

Overall, it was a great stuffed sopapilla, but I love that the food wasn’t messy, and I was able to eat all of it without any of it falling apart. This isn’t usually the case with foods like this and a big plus when you’re grabbing a quick bite to it in your car.

How have I been a native Albuquerqueian my whole life and never tried Stufys?! It’s stuffed sopapillas and amazing! Why are you looking at reviews still? Go order a #11!

I am a regular at this place so this really sucked for me and I was in a hurry so that didn’t help. But I show up and it’s chaos with construction, I’m stuck waiting at the order menu for like 20 minutes and then their breakfast burrito sign that was metal fell and hit my car, scratching it a little. I try to tell the cashier what happened and he’s like “uh idk the owner is outside somewhere” and im so livid and just decided I needed to get to class instead of fighting about what just happened. So I ordered my food and left. I get this was a pretty unique event but I really wish that the cashier had at least gone and gotten the owner instead of expecting me to find him. Still had to pay for my food too.

Waiting 30 minutes at the drive-through on Taco Tuesday for tacos was disappointing! This is an assembly line type of food preparation that should be quick, especially since, these were not “upscale” and “gourmet” tacos.

My fave Stufy is the #7 carne adovada. Stufys always serves good portion sizes, consistent quality and delicious Stufys!

Most food is good, but they are stingy with the chile on their stuffed sopas, so you have to order extra, for an extra charge of course. Also, you are no longer able to place a phone order-you must wait in their long drive-up line. You cannot go inside to order and avoid the drive-up, and they do not post their prices, which have gone up significantly.

Got my order in a good timely manner. Everything was cooked great. The Chile has great flavor. Not hot but has great flavor.
