Sub station is one of the best sandwich places in Chico in my opinion. The bread rolls are nice and soft and the toppings are finely diced, which I actually prefer over sliced veggies. Also, the sandwiches are a decent size with prices that are fair. I highly recommend calling in your order, especially if you go between 12-1, as they tend to be the busiest then. If you’re a first-timer I would definitely try them out when they aren’t in full swing with the lunch rush because you might get skimped on toppings if they’re slammed with orders. Overall I give them 5 stars with price and quality in mind.

This place is amazing. I had the French Dip and the kid had a Pastrami, I think. Not a ton of inside seating, but totally worth it. The food is spectacular. Wish I lived closer so I could go again.

Absolute shitshow. Took 2 hours to get sandwiches ordered at 11. Ended up getting every sandwich order wrong by a long shot. I will never go back to this place ever again. I want my money back but I don’t want to step foot in that place ever again.

First time coming to this store. I order the food and they certainly did not put a rush on making it so I stood there for about 15 minutes which is not a problem. But when I got my food there was hardly any meat or cheese on it. There was literally 90% bread. I personally believe it’s because I’m a white man and I look like a police officer. Although I’m not a police officer. Whether I’m right or wrong the factory mains that making a sandwich like that is extremely disrespectful and I will never waste my time going there again. I used to go here at their old location when I was in college. The new location is more commercial. I do miss the more chico charm feel. However, sandwiches still on point and delicious! Was busy in there but they still got the food out quick! Great service. In the past every time I went in the owner (I think his name is mike?) was working. So kinda sad not to see him, but he deserves a break after all his hard work and commitment!
