I think the sandwiches are decent. But the chairs make me want to throw up while I’m eating the sandwich. They are DISGUSTING. I also heard the owner speak very disrespectfully to a doordasher that simply didn’t know the rules- He said it loud enough for the restaurant to hear.

I’ve been eating here since 1983, and every day after school as high schooler. Best sandwich and French onion soup anywhere. I moved away in 1990 but come back to visit family and friends and this place is always on the must have list before I leave again lol. Support your local businesses and give this gem a try.

If you are a fan of Scooby-Doo, you would appreciate the sub station special. It is piled high with meat, including ham, salami, pepperoni, capicola, bologna, and turkey. The meat is fresh sliced for each sandwich. I also tried the freedom sauce, created for a person who played for the Freedom and it complimented this sandwich well. The person making the sandwich was very attentive and ensured the sandwich was what you wanted.

Food is as good as it can get. Filling sandwiches and plenty of options on the menu. Sub Station may be a franchise, but no other location has Mike at the helm running the show. He makes every customer feel important, and is incredible at creating relationships with them. This guy is a committed leader and dedicated to his craft. Customers come back for a reason. He deserves every bit of the fifth star.
