We’ve been wanting to stop by and try this place. Finally had the time to do so today and we do not regret it one bit! Donna and her employee were the sweetest and most welcoming people ever! As I sat and waited for my food I felt like I was at someone’s home hanging out. I love that it felt so at home. The sandwiches were delicious! And the place was super clean. We will definitely be going back! I loved seeing all the photos on the walls as well!

Holy cow . I’m not from Fresno but work around the corner and thought what the heck I’ll give this place a try . Well I can tell you it doesn’t disappoint. Homemade soup to die for and a delicious sandwich that I’m gonna have to save for dinner.

I have not been here in years. I was in the neighborhood, at the local high school, watching my daughter’s soccer game. Stopped in and got the steak and cheese with salami. Oh my goodness! It was absolutely delicious. I’ll need to be in this neighborhood more often.

Had their steak and cheese. I didnt hate it but I dont think I would go back. To me the steak didnt taste too fresh and there wasnt much cheese. I wish I was able to try their soups. Even though its the summer I can always enjoy a good clam chowder or any kind of soup. I just had Pho last week lol.

This place is like going home and your mom getting you your breakfast lunch and dinner! The owner and the food are the best! If you’re a Saints fan you’ll like it even more. P.S. If you’re looking for homemade chicken noodle soup it’s the only place to go! Everything is delicious!

I’ve always enjoyed coming here and somehow, each time it gets better! I have to say that the Rod’s special is hands down my favorite sandwich in the local area and perhaps beyond… I don’t know why it was my first time trying it, but I’m glad I did… Can you please grill my buns, please.

I decided to try something new for lunch, which has proven to be risky when only given a thirty-minute break. But alas, this risk reaped the greatest of rewards… As I entered this fine dining establishment, I noticed how incredibly packed it was, a line out the door accompanying the crowd inside. As the young lady calmly took every patron’s order, the woman behind her was in a state of sandwich-making I had only heard of in legend. As she expertly crafted every sub, she called on their future owners in a way that made it seem like they were old friends, a more than welcoming gesture that thrilled me more than a person waiting for their food should be thrilled. Finally, the moment of truth. All of the anticipation brought to a pinnacle; she had called my name. She asked if I was gonna eat here or take it to go. As I responded the former, she promptly handed my a sub-shaped foil, and informed me my fries would be up shortly. While awaiting my side, I decided to get a sneak preview of my meal to come. It was perfect. There were a plethora of diced pickles, not too much mustard, and a meat-to-bread ratio that would make the best of burgers jealous. In a word: Damn delicious. See? I tried to only use one word to describe my experience, yet two flowed out. If that does not convince you to at least try this place, then you must mot have read this review correctly.
