My family members and I arrived at this location after having been riding motorcycles all morning. 2 members in our group wanted to stretch their legs for a about 10 – 15 minutes before sitting down to lunch.We meet at this location 3 to 5 times a year when we our group gets a chance to ride together. On this day while I was waiting for the others to return, as in they had been walking less than 5 minutes, one of the employees that I will refer to as a jackass, gets in his black Ford F-150 and as he is backing out, he doesn’t even ask our intentions but just tells me to get all 3 motorcycles out of his parking lot or he will have them towed away and that he will have a tow truck there in 10 minutes. I tried to explain but he just would not listen. He simply stated that we were no allowed in the parking lot and that we are not allowed to meet there. I hope this baffoon does not run this place but as long as he is there, we are taking our business elsewhere. It is sad because this has been our preferred stop for the last 5 years.

I can’t speak to any of these this time around. 🙁 Typically I eat here every time I pass through very convenient location and easy to get In-N-Out of unfortunately this time when we arrived we parked all 3 of our motorcycles in one parking spot and decided to walk around town to stretch our legs before dining after riding all morning. Leaving one rider with the bikes. Shortly after we crossed the street a Subway employee, the manager, I assume driving a black Ford F-1 50 promptly threatened the remaining rider that he was going to have our motorcycles towed! Never asking if we were going to dine there. My buddy tried to explain which he rebuffed with vulgarity “I just watched the other two walk off!” He is one his was ten minutes or less! My buddy hollered to us and explained the situation. We mounted up drove next door at the 302 tavern.

I really want to give this place 5 starts because I have had a lot of good visits here with our family. Recently this man, Wayne that was hired treated me like trash while we were there, I reached out to the owner as suggested by the assistant manager because she has gotten multiple complaints about him. I expected a professional response, but never got anything back. I’m usually not one to complain about employees to management or owners. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. I know how it can be, and I’m really understanding person.. We are locals to Fryeburg and visit Subway frequently with our family. I went in while my husband was fixing a load we had on the trailer. I really had to use the bathroom. I asked Wayne (who is apparently the manager) nicely if I could have the code to use the bathroom. He was extremely rude and snapped at me in front of another customer saying I can’t use the bathroom unless I buy something. I told him we were going to be ordering some subs and that we would be paying customers, I was just waiting for my husband. He said you’re not using the bathroom until you pay. I was surprised by this and just said okay. I unfortunately took this out on my husband and yelled to him to come inside so we could order and pay so I could use the bathroom. It was our turn to order and he ask only my husband if he was ready to order. My husband said not yet, so I said I was ready and had a couple sandwiches to order. He turned his back to me and ignored me until my husband was ready to order. Half way through our order Wayne asked who was paying and my husband said he was, so he finally gave me the code to the bathroom.. I completely understand only allowing customers to use the bathrooms, but the way he went about this was extremely uncalled for! The way he treated me was awful. I’ve had 3 babies, when I need to use the bathroom I need to use the bathroom. We’ve also never had a bad experience at the Subway in Fryeburg so it was upsetting to say the least.. We will not be back if he is working. I would not be leaving this if my private complaint was acknowledged, and I felt like I was heard. Very disappointed by this experience.

Wayne, the manager was rude and annoyed that a group of 7 came in to order subs at 10am (while no other customers were in the lobby.) He rolled his eyes and barked at us asking for orders. The young boy running the cash register was nice.

A little skimpy on toppings. It’s Subway and they have a standard amount of meat, but the other toppings like spinach, onions, banana peppers were pretty sparse. Except lettuce, lot’s of lettuce. I’ll pass by this one next time.

Stopped in for lunch on my way through town. I was the only one there when I arrived and the guy working came from out back didn’t greet me and seemed annoyed that I even came into the store to order. Sub was fine just bad energy from the employee, whose tag also said “manager”. When finished I tried to use the bathroom which is locked with a key code and had to ask the manager for the code which also annoyed him. It’s fryburg Maine why is there a locked bathroom in the first place?

I am very happy that the Fryeburg Me Subway opened back up again. However, they dont accept any online coupons or are you able to order any specials that way. I ordered a 10.89 grand slam Ham sandwich on plain Italian bread with just mayo for my Autistic grandson. Well, something so simple was made on the wrong bread (herb/cheese). I understand mistakes happen, but when they have their phone off as well so you cant reach them it goes beyond frustrating. Driving back there and retuning it was the only option. One I was not ready to do again on a Sat (7/22, 2:30ish) with horrendous traffic in town! Needless to say his lunch was a disaster. 🙁

Manager does not care about his customers. He holds you hostage for the bathroom entry code until you actually complete your purchase. Very rude! Also were out of basic food items at 12noon. Avoid this Subway.

Went there this morning at 8 AM guy opens late which was not a problem, however, he was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with in my life. He should not be involved with customer service, and I will never go to this place again as long as this employee works there.
