Came in last week to get a sub and the guy that helped me was so polite and friendly. Came in yesterday hoping he was in and he was. He remembered me and my order. Fixed my salad just the way I wanted. He was so friendly. I love coming to fast food restaurants when the workers actually love there job. Wish he worked and every restaurant I go to.

Nasty hair in the Sub: had to go back in twice because they forgot or just didn’t put things we ordered in the bag.Ordered Online for pickup Paid for Avocado on the salad didn’t have any didn’t tell us gave us a bag of chips for the difference only because I went bc in got to the car after all that opened up my Sub which so glad I did hair in it and dried up mushrooms not just 1 3 pieces on the outside of the bread I did not order any mushrooms none in the actual sub just nastily prepared. whenever I have rode through and on that day the two girls are outside one always in dark Shades taking a break it was the other one who made my sub though.Did not get a Refund did not have the time definitely did not want another order from there @a later date either. Will not go back there.

There are two young girls that work there and have no idea what they are doing. A lady that was in front of me ordered a salad, the two employees didn’t know how to ring up a salad, one of them kept yelling “call mama and ask her”…apparently mama didnt answer because they gave it to her for free. It took them about 20 mins to make my sub which was nothing but bread. They were not paying attention to anything I was saying and very rude.

Useful info I learned tonight about the W. 5th Street location is that the store actually closes at 8:30, so that the employees can be out by 9:00. Don’t get me wrong, there’s not wrong with that just make it clear on the internet search sites. So although the order went through and charged to my account at, 8:26 it wasn’t fulfilled. We probably could have ordered from Fayetteville Rd location, but my funds were hung up with the first order, and we did that a few weeks àgo. The toasted multi grain bread was visibly burned and bitter, so we won’t do that again. I gave 5th St a 3, because since we’ve started back eating there a few months ago, their subs have actually been good .

Passing through on a trip. Decided Subway sounded good. We went inside, the guy behind the counter did not greet us until we were standing there a few minutes already. He was really friendly and nice to the family in front of us. So we stood and waited about 15 – 20 min, for him to finish up their sandwiches. We get to the counter and the guy just won’t say anything to us. I begin to tell him my order and he will not make eye contact, looking out the window instead of the customer in front of him. He was just being nice a friendly to the people in front of us, so I didn’t understand the switch in attitude. Then he begins slamming the lids on all the metal food tins, then the door to the bread cabinet gets slammed. He proceeds to slam our sandwich bread on the counter, at that point I said nevermind and walked out.

This was the weirdest, most frustrating experience I have ever had at a subway. My husband and I have been on the road for 6 hours, we stopped in around 8:20 pm. We walk in and the employees just stare at us like we walked in on something and then they don’t greet us, they ask if we’re going to want anything toasted. I say yes and one female employee just says oh okay, I’ll make it happen, or something. I honestly have no clue what else she said because she began to mumble and then literally disappeared for the rest of the time we were there. It was an awkward start to the experience. It took the other female employee way longer than it should have to make the first sandwich. She also had to ask another employee ( a male employee who has now shown up to help her) which bread was the wheat and he told her. It turns out they still gave us Italian bread instead of wheat. They asked like 3 different times which sandwich it was supposed to be, and acted like they didn’t know what went on any of the sandwiches (one of those being a Baja chicken and bacon, so I felt that was pretty self-explanatory). I asked for my sauce on the side and they put it into a small fountain drink cup. The whole time they’re moving at the pace of snails, and acting overall confused and just out of it. It honestly would make more sense if they were just random customers that went behind the counter and started making sandwiches, rather than actual employees. Not to mention, circling back to how we were asked if we wanted our sandwiches toasted. They were ICE cold. My husbands Baja chicken and bacon was disgustingly cold, as if it was straight from the fridge as was my Italian BMT. A waste of $20 and it was SUCH a bizarre experience and we will never ever be back and will be telling everyone we know to avoid this location at all costs.

Driving by yesterday about 2 pm, wife wanted a Subway sandwich. No initial greeting or eye contact until I broke the ice. No thank you or goodbye. Ergo, no tip. Won’t return.
