Best Subway location I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going here for my lunch break ever since I started working down the road at Johnson Health Tech, 4 years now. I always get the mini pizza with loaded veggies, some of the veg I like added before and after heating, and have a somewhat strange order. It’s always made to my preference, to perfection! The one staff member (forgive me I forget his name, but he has black spiky hair and all the pins on his hat) is always so kind, wears a smile, always asks me if I want the extra fixings like the oregano and parmesan dusting after it comes out of the oven. I know it’s easy to get worn down after many years of being in customer service (I’m in customer service myself, not every day is easy to put on a smile), but he’s doing it right! So grateful for this little shop.

Ordered 2 footlong subs and provided a coupon. Was told the coupon is not acceptable here, however used it before. They told me they’d give me 15% off. Bill totalled $20.61. I only had a $20 because I thought I was going to get one free with the coupon. They wouldn’t eat the $.61, so I walked and they were stuck with 2 footlong subs. Dumb people. They then ate $20.61 worth of food.

Very rude. Everytime we come in the kids are rolling their eyes when anyone walks in. On their phones not paying attention. Have been talked down to by the owner with simple questions. Not wanting to feel like I’m stupid going into a restaurant. Will never be back.

Good and fast. The drive thru is a tiny bit confusing. You go to the ordering screen then do a little U and come around to the window. No big deal. They were fast, friendly, and did a great job.

I love that this place has a drive-up option. I frequent it often. The subs are always accurate and outstanding! Very nice employees here, the owner is a great guy and cares about his store. Every time I’ve gone inside to order, it’s always so clean. But the drive-up option is so convenient! Not every subway has that feature. Incredibly fast and friendly service all around, every time.

The new owner, Michael Wirshels, has definitely already started running this store into the ground. He doesn’t order the basic products needed to run the store. When informing the employees that all their trash cans were completely full, it was said that he hadn’t ordered any garbage bags. He treats his employees very poorly, forcing them to work as many as 10 hours a day, minimal breaks, and being very inappropriate towards female customers. He personally tried contacting me over social media, attempting to pay me to go out with him. Ladies, please be careful going into this store!!!

The ‘one star meatball’ reviewer left his rating 5 years ago. Things have improved immensely since then. There’s a new owner and new location. The owner is behind the counter, serving the customer, making things right. Try for yourself, it’s worth it! When the owner is manning the operation you know things will be just how you want them! It has been a major improvement to the food offerings in Cottage Grove, so much so that I wish he would open up other restaurants here.
