Food – Good: Pleasantly surprised by the great flavors in the cheesesteak hot sub. Completely took me by surprise for a quick stop, liquor place. The wings weren’t the best in the sauce but definitely flavorful without the sauce and I’d imagine their dry rub being even better.

Horrible customer service, she just stared at me until i asked if she was taking my order…..she seemed extremely annoyed that i wanted a toasted veggie sub, with only LTO and Banana Peppers….she was just rude for no reason. My sub is ridiculous, they added whatever they wanted, cucumbers, mushrooms….clearly done on purpose.

This place is a good example of don’t judge a book by its cover. Looks like just another regular inner city convenience store, but the food is surprisingly good. Fwiw, I’ve only so far had the cheese steak and fries, but they were really restaurant quality. For the cheese steak they use a nice, high quality bread, and the cheese steak is grilled up with lots of good bell peppers and onions, topped with lettuce, tomato’s, and mayo if you wish. All put together in one scrumptious sandwich. And the fries are those nice extra crispy kind. And the 6″ cheese steak, fries, and fountain drink were only $8! Getting to be quite a bargain in today’s world. Although I think this may have just been a Tuesday special. Regardless I’ll definitely be back for more!

McKees Rocks staple … I’ve worked in the area for over 20 years and used to go there often. With the bridge closed I didn’t want to travel over to 65 to grab lunch and decided to give this place a shot again. I was not disappointed. I got a BBQ cheese steak and homemade chips. They had it ready to pick-up quick. Everything was hot and cooked correctly. Strongly recommend!

Ordered a few subs plus a steak salad today. It was my first visit. Miss Rhonda was so sweet and took great care of me, she even ran my order out to my car when it was ready. My son said his turkey sub was the best sandwich he ever had. I’m sad I just discovered this gem! But we will definitely be back! Thanks again Miss Rhonda!
