We went with a group (of 14) for afternoon snacks and drinks (tried to get into El Vez up the street, but they didn’t really want us). We sat upstairs and were able to spread out. We ordered pitchers of margaritas, nachos & chips with guacamole and some taco platters to share, The guacamole was excellent. The nachos were pretty good, but cheese was more like whiz than melted cheese. Very wet.

First time visiting Sueño and I will be returning! Shopping within the area my friend and I were hungry and I spotted this restaurant browsing on Google, Yelp, and etc. and saw they opened at 4pm. We walked in a couple minutes after 4pm and there were already a couple of tables seated. The restaurant is cute and nicely decorated with limited outdoor seating, bar seating, booths, and even an upstairs which looked really nice with perhaps larger tables and velvet seats. Definitely want to tour upstairs next time and get a table there. We started with chips and queso which was good; they serve you a large bowl of queso and we had to ask for extra chips. I ordered the fish tacos which were amazing! So filling and well seasoned I couldn’t resist but to eat it all.

Overall a really great experience. We are outside and they have heating. It was a little cold but manageable. The food was awesome! I’ve been waiting to come here for a while and it was worth it. A little on the pricier side ($300+ for about 7 people) we got 1 app, and 7 main courses, 1 pitcher of margarita, and dessert. The mole was a bit spicy but very authentic. The flavor on the good was really good. Portions are worth the money, the quality of great and fresh. Guacamole was plentiful, only thing I would add is more lime and cilantro. But we had guac left over which is always a plus. Drinks were strong and tasty. And everything came out pretty. Quickly. Emily and the serving team were amazing! Thank you for an amazing night , filled with yummy food.

I went to grab margaritas and tacos. Simple dinner. Great place to grab food and drinks! They have taco Tuesday specials. I went Friday night and they get very packed. They have 3 floors but not sure if the 3rd floor is open during meal hours. If you can’t get a table try getting a seat at the bar! I’ve been here a couple times, I enjoyed great drinks and vibes!

The place is cute on the inside, it wouldn’t be so bad if they didn’t STEAL MONEY. I ordered a SHOT, before ordering I asked how much it was to make sure it was the same as the price on the menu ($6) the bartender said it was $8 instead. I proceeded to buy the shot and not long I noticed that I was charged $58!

If you’ve never had Tex-Mex or Mexican food, I’m sure this place will suffice. Be sure you’re extra clear when ordering drinks at happy hour that you’re asking for a $6 cocktail and not a top shelf $20 margarita, which is pretty criminal down South. Chicken quesadilla is okay, service is prompt but unclear and will definitely overcharge you if you don’t tell them otherwise or if they “profile” you as a certain type who could maybe afford expensive liquors. Beware.

Some people like a dark place, but in the middle of the day you could get a whole makeout sesh in. I prefer more lighting. My experience was just ok. Couldn’t find the drink I wanted. Food I had was good.
