Went for breakfast and wanted the bourbon French Toast. Server got to talking and didn’t get that. No worries, everything was tasty. My lady loved her ube pancakes and tofu scramble!

Going to Hercules for a pre construction site visit and arrived an hour early. Needed breakfast and searched for “near by.” Found Sue’s and 1.6 miles later I arrived. Greeted immediately upon entering and seated. Good sized cups of coffee and ordered up a traditional breakfast of eggs, linguica (sp?) sausage, home style potatoes and sour dough toast. I say traditional because I got the sense this is a Philippine style restaurant. They have some real interesting variations of things. The food was excellent, service was exceptional and location convenient. As we do work here I’ll push my crew guys towards this establishment. Reasonably priced compared to other places and I’ll definitely return here again.

The adobo bowl was delicious. The linguica was not that good for $8/ piece on the side. The wait was not that bad for a Sunday morning (around 10am)

Good size selection of breakfast and lunch items. Went on a Sunday around noon. Had maybe a 15-20 min wait but we’ll worth it. The pork belly bowl with eggs cooked to order was excellent with the pork belly fried and tender. Added the kids menu french toast and bacon which was cheaper than ala carte. One in the group got the bourbon French toast which was good. Another had the feta cheese omelet. All were happy with selections. Prices very reasonable. No bar. Wonderful wait staff. No reservations that I could tell. Walk in and write your name and party size and whether you prefer inside or out or no preference. Not a large place so arrive early. Parking on street or lot across the street. Visiting from out of town. Hope to return.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere is friendly inviting and feels like family. The food was very tasty and the cook does not use salt. Excellent flavor. Good size portions. And I’ll say it one more time super friendly.

Sue’s is one of my absolute favorite breakfast spots in the Bay Area. The staff is truly welcoming and ALL of the food that I have tried so far has been delicious! The pork belly is one of my favorites and there’s always something fantastic on the daily specials.

Favorite halfway spot to meet friends in SF if you’re in north Bay Area. Right in downtown Pinole, close to street and city public parking. Food is Filipino-California Fusion. A must try for those seeking good eats at an excellent price. I hope they make it at least to Michelin Guides, food is really very good. The place is a mom and pop’s family owned restaurant. If Anthony Bourdain was still alive, he would enjoy this place.

Absolutely A gem!! I’ve been seeing their page in FB for a while now. Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted breakfast there. Took a short trip across the Carquinez bridge with my Dad & daughter. Though it is small, it is filled with cute decor, the friendliest people there and wonderful food!! I had the banana/strawberry pancakes! We found out Sue is the chef, her mom was a server~so sweet and such a good vibe! Very nice to talk a few minutes to Sue and give her our feeling in the place!

This place is NOT wheelchair accessible! 2-3 steps to get in. They have outdoor dining which is on the street so you have to step down the curb to get in. The “covering” was ripped and torn and wind whistled right through. No heat lamps available. It was a cold breakfast with mediocre food
