Hear me out- have you ever eaten a meal that you wish you hadn’t eaten? This was that meal for me. I wish I didn’t eat it just so I could go and eat it again for the first time. I wish it didn’t ruin all other local fried chicken places for me. How can I possibly enjoy a fast food chain after having such delicious, homemade, crafted with love food? I can’t. Walked in and placed an order. Had to wait for fresh chicken (which I did not mind) the whole staff is so friendly and personable. Some of the BEST service I have received in a very long time!! And the food is GREAT also!! They also gave me a few extras for free. Now that what I call service! Thanks so much for the great experience. I will definitely be back!!

Great food, excellent service & good prices. Real southern fried chicken, breaded catfish or cod, mac-n-cheese, terrific corn bread, and all kinds of sides. Homemade sweet tea, lemonade tea & regular tea are all homemade.

Everything was Amazing! From food to service! So nice and friendly. Great food for a great price. Totally worth our drive. I never finish a meal but I didn’t leave a bite behind. We have talked about going back since leaving. Highly recommend!

We ordered the catfish. It was deep fried. My wife loved it. For me it was good but I like my fish just fried. You order at the front of the place when you first enter. Then pick up the plastic ware and sit down in a large spacious room. Because of the acoustics my guess is this place could get pretty loud. The number one thing is it appears to be a family endeavor by people who care.

My husband & I had food here for the first time today and it was incredible! The flavorful chicken was deliciously crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The cornbread was moist and sweet and it reminded me of my southern mother’s recipe growing up.

Visited the restaurant after 5:00pm on a Friday only two other customers there. The food did not appear as fresh. I ordered my two piece chicken meal come with one side and corn bread. Extra side is $4. My meal totaled $18+. 🙁 The mac and cheese was not good, but the greens were great! Smaller chicken pieces, chicken had a crunch but was not seasoned. Their hot sauce was sweet/tangy, good on the chicken. They also had HiC fruit punch which is my fav. I would recommend going as early as possible for fresher food.

Absolutely delicious. Carol is such a sweetheart and I loved her suggestions. The homemade BBQ sauce and peach lemonade is incredible. Highly recommend. The corn bread was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely worth it and will be going back ❤️
