You may not have plans to be at this particular place in Louisiana, but you definitely should just so that you can stop at Suire’s.

We saw this place on an Anthony Bourdain episode and knew we had to try it. We drove 3hours from New Orleans just to try it and it was our favorite dining experience of our whole trip. The ladies working were really friendly and made us feel comfortable and right at home. We ate the crawfish ettoufette, oyster po’boy, and the best pecan pie we’d ever had. I wish I had 5 stomachs so I could’ve tried everything on the menu!!

Great plate lunches. Awesome deserts. The heavenly hash is amazing. Only place I can find Turtle Sauce-Picante. Only complaint is that it is kinda pricey so be prepared, but worth every penny.

It’s a little out of the way but we’ll worth the drive. Everything is authentic Cajun. Very tasty

We stumbled upon this gem of an experience during a road trip. I will refrain from using all caps even though I want to yell about how awesome the home-cooked food is. I had the seafood platter and my wife had the gumbo. It was all amazing. They had hundreds of fresh made pecan pies on hand for Thanksgiving, too. Had a great conversation with the owner and she had so many kind things to say, and thanked us profusely for stopping by. Everyone was so nice.

This place was on my bucket list. We made it a priority to visit and eat here. And it will always be a memorable occasion. We ordered shrimp po’boys, fish sandwiches and a few sides. It was a pleasure to meet the friendly owner and listening to her describe the items on the menu. Great experience!

When you see a Cajun pepper shaker filled with Cayenne pepper you know you are at a true to the bone Cajun establishment. The Turtle Sauce Piquant came with a piece of Fried Catfish, Potato Salad, Chocolate Cake, and a bread roll. I had Abita Root Beer another Louisiana favorite made from Spring Water and Cane Sugar. The food, service, and hospitality were exceptional. I’ll be back!
