Wow! Thank you! Arrived on a Thursday night with a light staff…ordered a bunch of sushi, soup, apps etc to go…..had 2 beers while I waited. Got home and everyone enjoyed!! Honestly delicious! The Suishin Roll with tuna and salmon was spectacular. The Bluefin nigiri and fatty salmon superb. The chef was swamped and the attention to detail was not ignored. Thank you!

Absolutely love this place! Friendly staff, comfortable dining and everything I’ve ordered from here has been fantastic. They have a full bar which is lovely because sometimes it’s nice to have dinner and a drink without being in a sports bar.

Stopped by for a quick snack. Had a dragon roll with octopus and eel nigiri. The roll was outstanding and the eel was very tasty.

This is the most delightful sushi restaurant in the Cities. I prefer this to Masu or the all-you-can-eat places. It is criminally underrated.

Amazing meal! Perfectly cooked broccoli, which I normally don’t even like. Recommend Teriyaki Salmon, delicious. Attentive server. Elegant decor.

The staff was friendly and the menu was simple, but the food tasted off. It’s like comparing pizza from dominoes and pizza from public schools. The appetizers and sashimi were expensive. The water tasted like tap water, but a bit fishy. The miso soup was a little salty, the tamago sashimi was a little sweet but looked different, and the sushi was plain and small. The sashimi didn’t taste like sashimi lol. It doesn’t seem fresh because you couldn’t taste the distinct difference between salmon and tuna. The chicken katsu’s sauce also tasted unusual like straight up soy sauce and the broccoli that was served with it was salted and boiled. I eat sushi a lot, but the food from this place despite their rating tasted very odd. The restaurant did not have any customers when we were dining. I wouldn’t come back, but the staff deserves two stars for being friendly.

I’ve gone to Suishin with my wife twice now. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Shoreview due to the calm, semi-romantic atmosphere, great food, and calm, polite servers.

Excellent food from the Yaki Niku to the sushi and the tempura. Always amazing and attentive staff, too. Our families favorite Japanese restaurant in Minnesota. They have very creative and original sushi rolls that are look as beautiful as they are delicious.
