Really good nachos huge feeds 8 +, pulled pork sausage combo the potatoes salad is good, excellent spinach artichoke dip highly recommended. Nice front lake restaurant. Prices are good. Service was good we decided to eat early dinner cause it is bbq lots of places run out of it, best meals in Houghton lake! Sarah and Tim great service thanks 🙂

My family and I decided to get dinner after putt putt on a Saturday night. There are 13 of us so we figured we would have to wait, but they got us right in and seated. They warned us they were short staffed but every single employee went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food was great; large portions, and reasonably priced. The quad sandwich is a highlight on the menu and all their BBQ sauces are delicious! The location is great in proximity to activities and the view of the lake isn’t bad either. Check them out!

We were incredibly surprised that this place was so empty – the service was great and the food was great! Timmy was a great server and the spinach artichoke dip (in a BREAD BOWL ) was absolutely amazing. The pretzels are also delicious and the nacho appetizer is HUGE.

We went for the lake view and stayed for the brisket, delicious side dishes AND ICE COLD BEER! Friendly staff gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed every minute! Best part .. we took a carry-out of the spinach artichoke cheese dip in bread bowl with a side of tostido chips to share on a boat ride with friends AND IT WAS A 200% HIT!!! I even took the leftover bread bowl home and sliced, buttered it and grilled it for a next day snack! Delicious too! We’ll definitely be back!

Food was meh. The brisket was oven roasted, not smoked, which was very disappointing. The smoked pulled pork didn’t have smoke flavor either. No bark to speak of. The server was super busy and tried hard. The view is really nice.

Sully’s is by far the best restaurant in Houghton lake. After trying all the others, Sully’s is our favorite. Great food, excellent service, generous portions, beautiful view of the lake, and easy on the wallet.

We were hungry for BBQ & Sully’s checked the box for sure! It was a treat. Awesome food! Generous portions. Friendly, attentive & helpful staff made us feel like welcomed guests. Very nice, yet casual dining area over looking beautiful Houghton Lake! While we enjoyed a widowmaker, one of our favorite beers on draft, Chef Kenny explained the special ingredients in our spinach dip appetizer, then he described how long & slow the brisket & bbq was prepared. He knows culinary art & you can taste the pride in every bite. Yum!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! My husband and I have a cabin on the same road as this place. We love being able to walk there for dinner. We have never had a meal there where we weren’t extremely satisfied! The service is so friendly and personal. The food is just INCREDIBLE! The views from the dining room are beautiful. If you’re in the area, you have to check it out!
