I, like, so many others, wanted to experience Summer Moon Coffee, on their Grand Opening day. We knew there would be a line due to the anticipation of a new coffee joint in town, but were willing to wait it out. When you approach the entrance, you are met by 2 ways of entering, thru double doors, or the opened garage door, already opened for convenience. The garage door adds a nice touch to make the out door seating feel like you’re still a part of the indoor establishment, while providing fresh air flow during beautiful weather. There’s also a kids area, where they have provided books to keep your little one(s) entertained, and a cozy lounge area by a fireplace. You have several items you can choose from, to show your support, like shirts/hoodies, candles, cups, & so much more. Staff were very friendly, & were quick to take care of a spill.

Very cool new coffee spot! Incredible coffee and super friendly staff and owners too! Tons of options perfect for every kind of coffee drinker and a really cool indoor/outdoor patio seating area. I usually go plain black/drip coffee, but had to see what the hype was all about with the moon milk – and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

This is one of the nicer Summer Moon locations I’ve ever visited, and I appreciated that it’s located away from a very crowded and traffic-plagued street. As with the other locations, I can always recommend the Winter Moon for these long Texas summer days (and nights). Their whole bean coffee is also great at home or as a gift to those you know who appreciate it.

Their drinks can be pretty good. If you like sweet drinks its accessible without being overly sweet. Ive ordered their blueberry crisp latte and another seasonal one before. However, these are surprisingly smaller in proportion to starbucks’ venti size while also costing more. (7$+)

Summer moon is great! I’ve always appreciated the service and the environment. Sure, they’ve make mistakes here and there but name a food chain/ coffee shop that has never made a mistake. We loved our experience here at this new coffee spot in Lockhart! The coffee was delicious, and they have good options for the whole family. I got the Bluemoon Latte, and I highly recommend it! The location is excellent, and the new building is beautiful. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the atmosphere created here; it is one of community and gathering. They even have a kids’ table with toys and children’s books! We will definitely be back, but for the time being, we’ll have to enjoy our Summer Moon mug and candle from home.
