Went on a Wednesday when there was hardly anyone in the mountain and also a Friday when the mountain was packed. The slow days was great as there were only about a dozen other people there. However, the crowded Friday, I would have to give them props for getting the crowds through the lines very quickly. Food was great both times and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view was incredible regardless of the crowd size of course…

A great place to stop into while you’re on the slopes. The food options are solid. I particularly liked the tandoori chicken sandwich. The prices are high, but not the worst that I’ve seen. Very convenient to a number of lifts on the mountain. The views are amazing and, if you need to rest for a bit, the Summit House is a great option.

I stopped in here to pee and grab a quick glass of water. It was a powder day so didn’t want to waste too much time eating. everyone in there seemed happy, so maybe that’s a verdict on the food. Or they were happy with the conditions…

I liked the food especially for a ski resort restaurant. They had healthy choices and pizza, burgers and chili (a ski resort fav) located at the top of the Bonanza lift at 9250′ altitude a great place to reenergize and take in the views.

This facility is so crowded that it is very hard to find seating, use the food service , take a bathroom break. Additionally the “fire place ” is not attended to well. The windows are filthy and the staff does not keep up with the food service clean up. The ski ranks outside are so full that skiers are left with no option but to leave their skis on the snow scattered about. Crowding at PCMR is systemic and effects all of the guests services.

Standard American food similar to other resorts owned by Vail company, such as Breckenridge and Vail mountain in Colorado. $15 will buy you a hamburger or other entree, don’t expect to pay less than $15. Good place to grab some free water.

Every morning- first off the lifts and into Summit house to hydrate, “de-hydrate”, check that all zippers are zipped and hot-hands are in gloves. Take a deep breath– and bolt onto the trails!
