The food was good quality, delicious, and the dinner portions were very generous. The crab cheese wontons are the best I’ve ever had. Service was a little slow, but it did appear that they were short staffed, and our waiter was definitely hustling while keeping a friendly demeanor. The lunch specials are reasonably priced, so we will go back soon for lunch, and to try something different. I do hope they will offer pork as an option with the Vietnamese rice noodles bowls in the future. The space itself is somewhat loud, and I struggled to hear at times. Overall, though, the food earned 5 stars from me! Yum!

We are so excited to have this restaurant in NOLOCO! Dine in experience was excellent. Food was fresh and flavorful. The sesame chicken was a bit on the sweet side, but the mongolian combo was . This will be our new go to for Chinese food.

They watered down the egg drop soup to a flavorless level and it did not have the flavor to spare from the taste of it. They seemed to use rotted eggs for the soup itself combined with a minuscule sprinkle of strange tasting frozen peas and carrots. Absolutely disgusting, especially when there are other restaurants in town of similar cuisines offering better quality options. The chicken egg rolls were delightful at first, however, the very final bottom quarter was full of old frying oil that made my friend and I feel extremely ill shortly after consumption. We were reminded of the poor state of our takeout dining experience for a full two days before both of us started to finally feel better. I don’t know if I’d recommend those particular menu items to anyone dining at Sun Cafe unfortunately 🙁 Service was okay, minus the few things they neglected to include in our order.
