I stumbled across this location since the spot I wanted to go to apparently wasn’t open yet. My leo friend in the front was very welcoming and I sat at the bar. He gave some recommendations which were pretty good. The bartender Ron really hooked me up. I can honestly tell he likes what he does, since the drinks were so good. Food came out fast!

The overall experience was great because of the staff. I wanted to try the restaurant because of the raging reviews on social media. I am originally from NOLA and enjoy different cuisines and blends of fresh flavors. That being said, not all of the food was that great. The Brussel sprouts, sticky white rice, and beef were delicious. The drinks were yummy but the staff was astonishing! They made my experience by far the best. Also, the air did not work.

My first experience at Sun Chong was on Thursday night around 8:30pm. Street parking is scarce but there’s a paid lot nearby. Empty tables were held for reservations so I sat at the bar. The bartender greeted me shortly after sitting and I placed my drink (strawberry margarita) and appetizer (Brussel sprouts) orders. Service was very slow. The app came first in about 20 min. I instantly regretted not ordering my meal with everything else, but ordered it at that time. The drink came about 15 min after that. Who knows why it took half an hour to make a drink. By then I was thirsty because I wasn’t offered water or anything to go with my app. I finally got my main dish (veggie fried rice) nearly an hour after arrival. The food was hot and tasted delicious when I got it. The cocktail was hard to drink because it had pieces of strawberries that kept getting stuck in the tiny straws. Atmosphere was cool and bartender was nice. She was much more attentive after I received my food. I would rate this experience a 3.5 but that’s not an option, so 3 stars it is.

NENO fried chicken was seasoned to perfection, hot, crispy, and fresh. The crawfish fried rice was good, but could’ve been better. I highly recommend the fried chicken. Coconut shrimps were good. Cocktails were good and strong. Our waiter Donnie was the best host.

Tonight I decided to dine at Sun Chong for a birthday party celebration! First, Peanut, our server was so bomb. She was personable and just a delight. The food came out piping hot and was DELICIOUS. TWO WORDS: BRUSSELS SPROUTS! Get them they were so good. Then I ordered the ribs! Listen the EXPERIENCE, FOOD and DRINKS was so good and it was just a great vibe. I will be back soon with more people…

I had such a wonderful experience here at Sun Chong. The foood the atmosphere the musicccc babbyyyyyy THE FOOOD . I said the food!!???? Everything was soo good but to top it offf we had such amazing service our waiter, YA GURRR PEANUT she did what she was postaaa doooo! She recommended we get the Crag Ragoon dip which were an EXCELLENT CHOICE for an appetizer. Babby gon head get you a reservation here at Sun Chong. ALSO GET THAT GLAZED SALMON THANK ME LATER

Saw this restaurant reccomended on Instagram and it lived up to the expectations. The drinks were great, the food and our server Daniella was awesome and very helpful. I’d say make reservations just to be sure you can get a seat.

The service was amazing the food a bit to sweet for me I got the coconut shrimp with crawfish fried rice and my husband got tha Baco shrimp that’s was a bit to sticky n super glaze “sweet” he didn’t like it either but the crab dip was amazing we would go back just for that dip n good drinks , but that’s it everything tastes to sweet !! Plus I felt the food wasn’t fresh like they was very fast the way everything it came out so wasn’t hot the rice was a bit cold but it did taste good like fried rice ! Our server was amazing !!!

We ate dinner here on 4/24/2023. The food is exceptionally delicious. The service and the food is very good. My wife had the Korean fried chicken and she loved it. I had the vegetable dumplings and the edamame; so flavorsome.
