Surprisingly great food and drinks for a beach stand! Beautiful view of beach and seems great spot for a sunset view. The staff was super nice and fun with customers. Reasonable prices and good amount of food. Would be a 5 if there were more tables.

If it were possible my rating would be a 4.5 but a 5 is still fair in my book. My husband and I were visiting and stopped at siesta key. We needed lunch and decided to g. rab it at the Sun Deck. I read a few concerning reviews but we didn’t have many other options (as convenient) so we decided to give it a try. To start, I’ll name the pros- there were a few people in front of us but 2 ladies working the order/checkout so the line went quickly, and both ladies taking orders were so friendly and efficient. We ordered 2 chicken tender baskets, fries were included ($10 each). We shared a small coke ($3.00, large was $4.00). With tip etc. our total was $29 and some change. We didn’t wait very long for our food at all and both the chicken tenders and the fries were very high quality, tasty, and was nice and hot. My ONLY “complaint” is that it was just a bit pricey for a snack stand, but I realize we’re at a vacation destination and that tends to be the case at any other places. It just stung a little to spend $30 on lunch for 2! I’ll also add the view from the picnic tables up there are gorgeous and depending on where you are sitting, you can possibly see your chairs/umbrella/belongings! When we go back to siesta key, we will probably eat there again if the situation calls for it.

Good selection, but two factors made my experience a bummer. Additional 10% service charge added to menu price, then a default 16% tip added when signing for a credit card. My $8 item came to more than $10 by the time I signed. Maybe that’s standard practice in this area, but it soured my experience. Then when I started to enjoy my frozen drink, I discovered that it was deceptively hollowed out. Overall disappointed in my experience.

Love this little snack shack, we love the sand bucket daiquiris sweet but great to cool off with. The employees are super friendly and it was a pleasure to talk with them. A must visit when going to the beach!

Good food with a great vantage point of Siesta Beach. Was pleasantly surprised by the Ahi Tuna Poke on wakame salad with wonton crisps. The cheeseburger and the virgin strawberry daiquiri and pina coladas were also good. Fast and friendly service.

We came up from the beach for lunch at 1:15. The service was fast, pleasant, and the blackened chicken bowls were delicious.

The freshly made tacos were great. The blended drinks were pretty good too.

I was standing at the counter, but the server overlooked me. When I called his attention to it, instead of apologizing, he berated me. He certainly needs more customer service training. Apparently. It’s not the first time he acts out, according to other reviews. When I tried to take his photo, he even put his hand in front of his face….So beware….mean guy ahead.
