I’ve been going to Sun on at least 15 years when they were next to blockbuster and the paint store on 134 next to comberland farms. New years Eve we got food there..as usual..excellent. I went last week for just a quart of pork fried rice. The parking lot was empty. My heart sank. I thought they had closed. To my surprise, the empty lobby was a rare sight. I placed my order and returned home. The rice was dark and dry and there was no pork in it. I assumed maybe they forgot to stir it up before scooping. Today my hairdresser also expressed her displeasure as of late. The last 6 months changes occurred there and not for the better.

Always good and reliable. Fast service and food is always tasty. Can’t beat the General Chicken and Crab Rangoon. For the people leaving bad reviews because their orders are wrong. I learned many years ago not to get any takeout without checking the order before leaving the establishment.

In reading the reviews it seems many people have had good experiences here. then there are the poor reviews citing poorly cooked food of questionable quality. unfortunately, ours was the latter. the beef teriyaki was the best thing we had and really the only decent thing in a huge order. I second the statement someone voiced about throwing away $85 worth of food and that’s exactly what we did. the pork fried rice was dark brown and had a funny taste and did not have much for add ins. my daughter described the chicken fingers as “suss.”. the general gaos was not tasty and the scallion pancakes were floppy and not crispy at all. I wish we had a better experience as this is a family place but I won’t be going back.

We were very disappointed. The boneless spareribs were all fat and gristle. The pork dumplings had a thick mushy dough and the pork wasn’t good.

The building itself is just an average little restaurant, so if you’re coming for atmosphere you’ll be disappointed. However, if you want delicious, affordable Chinese food, this is the only place to go. First of all, the menu is HUGE. They’ve got to have over a hundred dishes with all your basic proteins (chicken, pork, beef, & shrimp) and also meatless options. If you like spicy they have plenty of that, but if you don’t they have plenty of options for you, too! As far as the service, every person who’s ever cashed us out has been polite, and they always finish the food in a timely manner (usually about 15 minutes). My partner and I are actually moving out of state soon, and I imagine I’ll be dreaming about this place for a long time. 10/10 would recommend!!

I’ll start by saying I’ve been going here for years no problems..Delicious… Last night, Mother’s Day, Moms choice was Sun On. We had a problem with one entree..It was awful. We’ve had it many times..great..No tonight. It looked liked someone else ate it first. The lady was so obnoxious when we came back with it. Putting her finger in my face. Screaming at me. Telling me I don’t know what it should look like. Not only that no shrimp or chicken . It was missing. She yells at me. I mean YELLS.. You can’t have money. I didn’t want money. Just something else..WOW..I’ve never seen her before..A middle aged women..I will look at my food before I leave the restaurant from now on..Customer service is horrific
