This place is a great little diner. It was pretty packed for a Sunday morning and we had to wait in the foyer for about 15-20 minutes before we could be seated. The food has never disappointed and I’ve been here three times now. The wait staff is friendly and they typically check on you quite frequently even though they are slammed. We will continue to make the drive and have meals here.

I was so disappointed with my breakfast today. I have been looking forward to trying this place out since they moved into town. The coffee was good. I asked for iced water with lemon and when it came the lemon was slimy. I asked for poached eggs and was told that they don’t poach eggs (?!) she said that they would steam them on the grill so I said “ok I’ll try it. I like them soft” They came out hard and brown and crispy on the edges. My hash browns were cooked just like I asked for, however, they lacked flavor. On a good note, my husband said that his omelet was very good, so that brought my rating up to 3 stars.

This place is awesome. Have been hooked on their #1 for about 2 years now . Super friendly wait staff, the food is always good and never disappoints. It is totally their fault that I can’t stop comming back. We make the 25 minute drive and never feel bad about it .

This is the best place in Lapeer County for breakfast. Friendly waitstaff and food comes out quick. On the weekends there can be a little wait but it’s well worth the wait.

The local favorite, the sparkling clean restaurant provides good food & reasonable pricing. It is strongest at its breakfast offerings. Corned beef is canned, but much else is made to order. Enjoyed the country fried steak and eggs as it has been years since I’ve had it under eggs & sausage gravy. Massive hash browns. Wife had the french toast with bananas & chocolate sauce with bacon & scrambled eggs. Taking 1/2 of the toast home, she enjoyed it and actually finished most of the rest. A solid local choice.
