For all the things New Haven does have, I didn’t expect to find authentic (and delicious) Caribbean food. I’ve been eyeballing this place for a little while now and I finally went. The curried goat is amazing. The rice and peas is perfect, and the cabbage slaw is absolutely delightful. Paired with a funny and kind person behind the counter, and even though I was only picking food up, i had a good enough time that i can not recommend this place enough. Go there, get a taste of home, or a taste of something you e never had before, but either way, enjoy. This place is worth it.

We stopped by to pick up a meal on Sunday Dinner Everyday’s fourth evening in business. They were still putting the finishing touches on the space— we arrived before the tables had, before the protective film had been peeled off the TV screens— and I am so glad that they didn’t wait a moment longer before opening their doors so that the community could enjoy their delicious food.

It was my first time going today and the food is delicious. The pricing is good and the portion sizes very generous. We order the curry goat, some wings cooked fresh, and home made Mac n Cheese! We also had a sample of the jerk chicken and it was just as delicious and definitely something I will be getting on my next trip here.The staff is very friendly. They have nice selection and offer delivery through Grub Hub and Uber Eats. They have lunch specials and specials that they run on Friday’s and Saturdays. It’s a nice change up from the usual food available in the neighborhood and worth a visit.

Stopped by and had the curry chicken and the jerk chicken and both were excellent, succulent, and moist. All the sides I sampled were tasty, especially the plantains. I will definitely be coming back.
