First things first, the portion are massive. The prices fooled me because I wasn’t confident about paying $18 for a stir fry at a non central restaurant but I was surprised at the dish size. Couldn’t finish my food but it was really good. Sort of different from usual viet food, which I liked. Drinks were great, food came out fast, lots of parking and tables. Nothing to complain about.

Sunflower is one of Austins most authentic Vietnamese Resturant. Their menu has so much to choose from and I wanted to eat it all. everything I ordered has been so good. The Banh Xeo pancake is so crispy, I also got Banh Hoi the shrimp and sugar cane wrap and Nem nuong wrap and that was delicious too. The beef Goi Was just ok though. My daughter loved the Bo Ne hot plate but wished they added pate with it too. Not picture here but the canh chua (fish sour soup) was great too. My other daughter had the pho and that was ok too.

An amazing authentic and gourmet tasting Vietnamese restaurant. Each dish is beautifully prepared and tastes amazing, worth the higher price than what you’d expect at typical Vietnamese places. They have lots of seating and the food comes out pretty quickly. The best dishes are definitely the Shaken Beef, the Shrimp Noodle, and the appetizer Banh Xèo, but you can’t go wrong with any choice, and they have a lot to choose from. I also really enjoyed the Vietnamese Coffee. Overall a great spot, one I’ll definitely come back to.

This restaurant has been here 2 years. I pass it everyday and never saw it. They got a new sign and BOOM! There it is. The food was really good and the establishment is fresh and clean. Loved the atmosphere. Service was friendly. We had everything we needed, but he didn’t take away all the dirty plates. We sat there chatting with dirty plates in front of us for about 20 min. Which is a total pet-peeve of mine. We were one of two tables there for late lunch, but the warm food took a long time. We will be back bc it was so good and the location is very convenient.

Service was sweet and the environment was nice. However, the food was not worth the price. For 1 app and 3 dishes it was $120 without tip. The food was not the greatest and lacked flavor. The crepe was tasty but it only had a couple pieces of shrimp and barely any chicken. Most likely won’t return but the staff was great!

We started going to Sunflower on 183 fifteen years ago. It was sold in 2017? The new owners are related children and reopened on Parmer lane. Is it possible to have a Vietnamese restaurant that was better than the original? Definitely. The food is excellent, the portions are large, the price is a bit higher and the service is excellent. The restaurant it large, clean and modern. It was worth the trip from north Williamson Country to visit our once again favorite Vietnamese restaurant in central Texas. Good job. We met the new owner and she is gracious and took time to tell us the story of the restaurant. We will be back!

I went on. Friday at noon. I was seated immediately and gave me order within 5 minutes. I ordered the stir fried vegetables over crispy fish (tilapia). The fish wasn’t crispy probably due to the sauce on top of it BUT it was very delicious! The entire experience was about 30 minutes! I had a great lunch and returned back to work 10 minutes early. I would definitely go back there again.
