I work near Sunflower so it’s easy access but after two years of giving chance after chance because I understand people are human. Today was my last visit. After finding hair in my grits a few weeks ago and also hair on the side of my cup I’m going to give you all a very STRONG suggestion!!! At this point hair coverings are needed at least for the people handling FOOD. Hair is disgusting! I understand it’s family owned but come on! Also there isn’t any consistency with anything anymore. One day your food is great the next day you order the same thing and it appears to just be thrown together and disgusting. You can put special instructions in the notes for your order they may honor your request they may completely ignore it. I’m not sure what happened or caused the lack of concern within the last 2 years but I’m very disappointed in Sunflower and today was just the final straw.

When they get it right, the food is amazing. I’ve had food from here three times and each time one aspect of the order was wrong enough that we decided to speak up (well, we spoke up two times dining in. Our to-go order was wrong but we didn’t call back). They were always happy to fix it, but certainly weren’t quick to fix it.

The food and the prices are good. The staff is friendly but for goodness gracious please provide some forks that don’t break. How hard can it be to wash them? Those cheap plastic ones you provide break easily especially when you dig into harder foods like potatoes.

The food here is made fresh, made fast, and it’s delicious! The fries were a surprising highlight with just enough seasoning to give them that extra pop. The atmosphere, too, is clean and bright with great music. I’ll definitely be back and might try the chicken tender wrap next time but everything was great. Even upgraded to a combo and got the fries, drink, and cookie added.
