We ended up here yesterday by accident. What a delicious accident it was. The food was fantastic. Served sizzling on a cast iron plate. The aroma hits first then the perfectly seasoned spicy pork (Dejibulgogi). We came back the next day just for Yaku Mandu (dumplings). Fried pillows from heaven.

Sunna is amazing! She does everything herself cook, waitress & wash dishes. The food is fabulous!! Can’t wait to try more menu items!

Sunna’s was amazing. Since Sunna is a one woman show, things may take a little longer. The was was delicious and worth the wait. Key move is to dip the kimbap in the tteokbokki sauce.

My husband took me here to have some Korean food for lunch. The food we ordered was good, but it took a long time to have the food served. (We were so surprised we stayed at the restaurant almost for 2 hours as we walked out. It only took for us to actually spend time eating less than 15 min)

My husband and I have visited Sunna’s Korean Restaurant several times. Each time we visited, Sunna made what we considered rude remarks and seemed argumentative. However, we excused the exchanges as being caused by cultural misunderstandings.

As I sat here waiting on my food I saw several of these grasshoppers all over the restaurant. The price I paid for the beef bulgolgi and the portion size do not match up. The dish was mostly vegetable and hardly any beef and no flavor. The rice tasted old and had formed hard clumps of rice. The fried dumplings I ordered were still cold in the middle. The spring roll she brought out was mush on the inside. I was the only one there and she just completely ignored me. Will never return here again.

First of all, Miss Sunna is AMAZING. For those in the other reviews calling her “rude” or “mean”, you just obviously haven’t spent enough time around Korean women lol. She took such good care of me, my son, and my best friend Sunna does EVERYTHING on her own!! So yeah, service is slow, but the food is worth it! We ordered tteokbokki, kalbi, and spicy pork bulgogi. We didn’t have a knife, which isn’t a problem for me. But Miss Sunna saw my son struggling with the kalbi and came to cut it up for him She was so motherly, making sure we were all eating (especially my son). The food was so delicious, we overstuffed ourselves lol. She also keeps the restaurant super clean. Very impressive for a 1 woman show! Miss Sunna, if you see this, thank you so much for making our experience so good!

We visited on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by this cozy little whole in the wall family owned local restaurant. It is seat yourself and a sign to that affect would be helpful but once we knew to find a table the experience only got better. The busboy brought our menus and drinks and then Sunna took our order. She was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We were given an egg roll each that we didn’t order so I assume it was either standard or offered when the food takes a bit of time, either way it was fresh hot and delicious. Next came our appetizer of dumplings these were boiled not grilled/fried but again very tasty! Plus 12 for $9 is one of the better deals I’ve seen for dumplings! Soon after our sizzling hot teriyaki chicken and pork stir fry came! We originally were going to get some sushi but Sunna reminded us that in the heat we were having that day and on a weekend sushi would be risky so we were grateful for her honesty. She did ask us ahead of time how spicy we wanted the food, we opted for spice on the side. The pork itself had some kick but even as a total wuss I was able to handle it and the flavor was so worth it! The teriyaki wasn’t slathered in sauce the flavor was cooked in and it was tasty too! The veggies that came with such as broccoli and greenbeans were sauteed and seasoned to perfection. The very casual atmosphere was nice if you’re ok with getting up to get your own refills, which we were. Overall we were quite satisfied and will definitely be going back to try some other dishes! Bring your appetite!
