I recently dined at Sunny Side Solana, and the experience was a mixed bag. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, particularly the Salmon Benedict, which was simply delicious. Their cold brew was also quite good, a refreshing accompaniment to the meal.

What a cute shop. I made a reservation for Saturday morning but it wasn’t necessary. We arrived right at opening and we had no wait. The oatmeal was huge, both my kids could have shared this. My 7 year old ordered the lox sandwich and she enjoyed it.

We both got an Eggs Benedict (short rib and traditional). Both were delicious and came with warm, crunchy potatoes. The patio is nice, but there were so many flies, and we weren’t offered a fly fan which would have been appreciated

This place has an amazing atmosphere, including everything from the decorations to the service. The eggs benedict was fantastic. The chorizo was delicious. We didn’t get dessert but the churros and cakes looked really good. Everything tasted homemade and was really filling. The owner offered us some of their fresh made jam with what tasted like homemade sourdough. Incredible! Will definitely be back soon. I bet their dinner entrees are amazing!

Service was really slow. We didn’t get drink refills until we had already finished our meal. We asked for Tapitio sauce when our food was delivered and they didn’t return with any. They didn’t come back to check on us to see if our food was cooked correctly until we were at the end of our meal…and they were not busy. Food was good though. Our server was Charlie.

First time here last Saturday. Eh, I wasn’t impressed. I thought the food was very slow and over priced. It took FOREVER to get our checks and by the end it was a hassle to just get out of there. We were a group of 7 women who regularly have breakfast together on Saturday mornings at various locations in North County along the PCH. We typically get single checks without any problem at any number of the small restaurants. This was a big hassle here. It seemed as though they didn’t know how to use their software well. Not sure I’ll be back.

Great breakfast for a great price. Ambiance was perfect for a nice easy breakfast right by the ocean. Decorations on the inside and out are very cute and fit the theme. Waffles were perfectly made. Enjoyed every taste that was delivered to our table! Would highly recommend the food, the service, the location and the overall experience. Heidi was a great server and made the experience even more enjoyable! Highly recommended!

This is a great breakfast spot. The service was outstanding along with the food we ate here. It is right off the main drag in town so it got noisy a bit sitting on the front patio.
