Usually the fried cod is cooked perfectly but last night it was rubbery, some of it was hard and dry. We were so disappointed. Every single piece was the same. I don’t know what happened! Was there a different cook on Friday night?!

Nice bartenders. Watched the cook cut the chicken and put it on the tortilla with his bare hands. I stopped him immediately and said I’m sorry but I won’t eat that because you’re not wearing gloves. He said he washed his hands, I kindly told him I still wouldn’t want to eat it, he was visually upset and I was still kind and told him no thank you. The bartender came over and said we don’t wear gloves here unless it’s raw meat. I let her know that I still didn’t want the food. I was nice about the entire thing but still felt like offended someone. The thought of having bare hands touch my chicken lettuce and tomatoes doesn’t sit right with me. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Love this place. Food is inexpensive and good. ($2 12″ pizzas!) The drinks are reasonable too. It’s a lot bigger inside than one would guess by looking at the outside. There are several adjoining rooms. I had a great time here for a colleague’s retirement party. The attached photo is of a back room, full of our party.
