Huge portions. Friendly staff. Eggs are cooked perfectly, light and fluffy and not even slightly browned. We will return. They have a buffet on the weekends. All you can eat salad bar during the week, you can chose 2 or 3 meats, or add the all you can eat salad bar to your meal for $7.49.

I braved a salad and it was surprisingly fresh and colorful. Didn’t care for the giant pieces of raw onion and mushrooms had not been washed- easy enough to pick those out. We really enjoyed the grits and hash browns too. Eggs were standard for a diner. Bacon was our biggest disappointment. It was thin and chewy. Service could’ve been way more attentive and friendly!

Really, really good experience. I ordered the Big Breakfast and struggled to finish it, and it was pretty affordable too. The food was tasty, the portions were large, and the servers were all really kind. I got to engage with the owner and two servers, and even the cooks in the back made eye contact to make sure I was doing okay. Definitely will be returning.

Dry meat in sub sandwich. Frozen crinkle fries. “Signature ” dish of hashbrowns tasted like noodles with no crispy texture. Dry toast. Dirty ceiling. Buffet looked no better than you could get at a cheap hotel. Servers were just doing the job with no passion. Restrooms were located right by the checkout. The one positive was that the server used the electronic device that made the checkout very fast. But overall just a blah restaurant.

Sunrise Restaurant, omelette cafe, locs chicken and waffles, sunnyside up, omelet house, Golden Breakfast, Breakfast Place, and I’m sure I’m missing another. They are all Exactly the same. Look at the menus..identical! All with the triple crown omelette and other choices. I love how people in Savannah brag about knowing the best breakfast place and choose one of these and talk down on another one….when they are exactly the same! Nothing special.. just a chain restaurant with different names. Eggs on a griddle…that’s it. Very simple. Decent food but nothing special.
