Wow. What a gem. This is a must try if you find yourself in Uvalde, Tx. The chicken fried steak is one if the best I’ve ever had; thick tender meat and crispy crust. The gravy was very flavorful. Even the french fries were cooked right; crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. My only regret was trying to finish the whole thing. It came with a side salad and toast for $12.

Great Lunch !! Hamburger was tasty with very fresh ingredients on a slightly toasted bun. Onion rings were lightly dipped and fried delicious. French Fries are thick crinkle cut, nice crisp outside but soft inside. Chicken Fried Steak was fork tender with a light crispy batter and cream gravy, very tasty !!

It’s okay is really the best description. Certainly not worth driving for, but fine for locals on lunch. Nothing wrong, just nothing good. They also have terrible hours and add a surcharge for credit cards. I don’t feel the need to go back
