Had our first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised. The building is so pretty inside and the backyard area is fantastic. It is unique for this area. The turf is the best part! I love the colorful seats, stage, and outside bar. Definitely doesn’t feel like you’re in Ohio. We ordered the garden salad with chicken, the New Richmond burger, and kids hotdog meal. Our sever was very polite and helpful. I was disappointed they didn’t have mix for a Bloody Mary so I decided on the frozen margarita and it was delicious. I do think $10 is overpriced for that drink. There was a band playing and it was fun to listen to while we waited. Overall we had a nice time and look forward to going back.

Fantastic, giving me the beach vibes on this the 2nd day of the winter solstice. Incredible burger and perfectly seasoned fries. Who would have known such a perfect place would exist on the Ohio River, just 20 miles from Cincinnati?!

Nice seating and outside atmosphere but the food was horrible, the fish was rubbery and breading was too greasy. The cheeseburger wasn’t cooked right and the tomatoes were greasy. Fries were absolutely horrible, they had a bad taste and moist? Food quite literally make me sick. The waitresses just stood around talking/drawing on a chalk board and didn’t check on us..didn’t even bring us the check for a long time. Was not worth the money.

A hidden gem. The fresh coleslaw was delicious as well as the other food we ordered. The staff was very attentive. Plus the back patio Riverview is a great surprise. The colorful chairs brightened our visit. We will definitely return.

Beautiful location and great music but severly under staffed. Went to dinner on Friday May 13 and bar service was good but after we were seated no one would take our order. I asked the hostess twice about a waitress and she looked confused and kept asking where we were seated. (she was the one that seated us outside). I recommend just getting a hotdog or hamburger at the outside grill since they don’t have enough servers to take care of the tables outside. When I finally got one of the waitresses attention, she was very rude. (obviously over whelmed with the number of tables she had to wait on). I asked for some ice water and when she brought it over, she slammed it down on the table. It’s a shame they can’t find servers as we really enjoyed being on the river and listening to the live music. Doubt that we will be back anytime soon.

Our first time at Sunset. We dine in and was really disappointed at the inside decor/ atmosphere. It felt and looked like a lawyer’s office. Very dull. The food was good. And the service was good. After we ate we went outside and loved the outside area. Bright and cheerful and fun. Why isn’t is the same inside? It would be wonderful if you carried the fun atmosphere inside. You are right on the river…..why not?

It was pretty great. Blue Stone Ivory was great. The food was great. Now for the BUT…. They were so slammed. It was in the paper this week so that’s why we went and so did about 1000 other people. They had to turn people away after they had to shut down the kitchen because they could not keep up. We knew going in that we had about an hour wait, but it turned into 1 1/2. Not bad, but then we heard that they were running out of food . We finally got a great table and great burgers just in time for the last set. Sunset was incredible. So were most of the servers. We will be back.

It’s quickly becoming a regular stop for us to eat here. The appetizers are very good. Consistently good wings, burgers and sandwiches. Service is pretty good for a busy place. The place is clean, comfortable and the river views are rocking! It’s been a great addition to New Richmond.
