Very great place to hang out. Nothing like bringing the beach ️ to Hernando where you can have drinks food and even kayak. Perfect for long talks and singing your heart out at karaoke . I will definitely be back there. The owner has definitely turned the place around and made things more enjoyable. Very nice staff and great friendly environment

This place is changing…for the better! Everything is so much better. The improvements make it more enjoyable. The outside sitting area gives a beach feel. Staff is great and food is always a treat, especially when you get the pride is shown in the meals. If you want something better, you want to go to Sunset Grille of Hernando Beach. See what you’ve been missing and if you’ve been before then come back and check out the new, updated version that you’re sure to enjoy.

We heard Sunset Grill on the radio and decided to check it out. Don’t think it was the advertised Sunset Grill, but we liked it just the same. We ate on the patio. Our server, Giovanni was awesome. And the food…the food…the food! I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious & buttery & shrimp was cooked perfectly. It came w/garlic bread and one of the best house salads I’ve had. Companions had catch of the day-sole, one was blackened & one grilled. The chicken wings were typical chicken wings but that habanero sauce was kicking! Husband had a gyro, which come w/fries. Add wine, beer and a delicious fruity cocktail and this Sunset Grill was definitely a good choice. DJ came on while we were eating. And on Saturday it was a Toga party so we hung out and just had a great time.

Best shrimp I’ve ever had.. wasn’t all Cajun seasoning and paprika like all the other places from here to the freezer. No drink menus they will make anything. All the food that was being served looked delicious and the amount of food you get is worth the price witch isn’t a lot.

Tonight was my first experience, and also my last at this establishment. Early evening arrival, 5:00 pm, so not too busy. After order my daughter and I were told after about 20 minutes that there was only one burger available. I changed my order and after about 45 minutes our sandwiches came out. The food was at best terrible. We couldn’t finish our meals due to lack of quality, the guitar player competing against the sound system set on some station and the ambiance of a brick. The waitress did come buy and said they were comping our sandwiches because of the long wait. The bill didn’t reflect a comp. I paid my bill, tipped the waitress and thankfully got out of the place. In a word, HORRIFIC! Save your sanity, money and self respect.

Was on vacation with 11 friends and stopped in one night for a cocktail all 11 of us and it was music bingo. None of us knew what it was so we played and had a blast with the regular patrons of the bar. Owner and male Bartender I think Shawn were great. Thank you for one of out memorable 7 days on vacation.

7:30 on a Sunday. Outside bar, seating for maybe 60, nice setting on the canal. Beer cold, Greek quesadilla interesting, one time deal for me. Pretty quiet even though across street very busy.
