Such a fantastic place for a nice meal with some live music or a cool drink to enjoy while watching the sunset! This has very quickly become my husbands and my favorite place for a date night. The food is divine, the cool breeze is refreshing, the views are breathtaking, and the staff and is amazing! The area is kind of like a secret nook in Ingleside and definitely a place that should be on your list to visit if you’re in the area!

The Hideaway is truly a hidden gem in the Coastal Bend! Every time I have been there, I feel like I have stepped into a Jimmy Buffet song. The environment is so laid back and welcoming with live music and some of the most amazing BBQ I have ever had. The owners walk around and check with every customer ensuring that they are satisfied. The Hideaway is a family friendly establishment as well the perfect place for a quiet romantic date. Between the food, the music, playing a round or two of corn hole, and the amazing sunsets, you can’t go wrong.

The Sunsets are to die for. The food is okay…best menu item is the smoked cheese…the bbq really needs help in the seasoning although it’s smoked well. Need more of a variety of menu items. I personally do not like their meat nachos…to sweet of a bbq sauce.

Great local getaway. Good food and drink. Live music kept the atmosphere alive while talking about the day as the sunset goes away. Right on the water watching the fish while the birds hunt. Staff was courteous and had a great time.

An amazing get away, secluded and calming. The food is simple, I had brisket and it was perfect for the ending of a beach filled day. There was a local music group playing and singing which set a calming atmosphere where you could tell the other patrons were locals or regulars or both. Defiantly will be a place to return to on my next visit.

We went for my dad’s birthday because my parents loved the place, I’ve been back multiple times in just a few weeks because of it!! Can not get enough of the ribs or smoked cheese!!!!! The staff is always crazy nice and helpful and always check on us multiple times. My son loves the live music and the water!! Wish I could go every night!! Definitely recommend!! Family dinner? Date night? Relaxing dinner after a long day at work? Go to the Sunset Hideaway!!!!!

Lou was super sweet and went above and beyond. The brisket was amazingly tender and delicious. The sausage tasted homemade. And the potato salad and coleslaw were on point. Will be one of our usual spots to visit on our frequent trips to Port A.
