Sunset Cafe is a secret find – a treasure. Owner Romin is on hand and prepares the pasta, sauces and just about everything else each day. The simple but elegant decor and French music sweeps you away to another place. And when the food arrives it’s out of this world. Caprese salad, hand prepared butternut squash ravioli and salmon are the things to order and will blow you away. Pair a nice wine and dont forget pear, ice cream, almonds and homemade chocolate for dessert. This will be a special night for you and a unique great value.

Walked right in and got a table. Very friendly staff. Ordered great wine, appetizers (caprese salad), and very delicious mains (pan seared salmon and butternut squash ravioli). The flavors and atmosphere were just right. Perfect for a date and/or a casual dinner with friends/family. Highly recommend.

A lovely new spot to savor delicious French food, perfectly prepared and so tasty. Staff is welcoming and friendly and the wine list and menu are excellent. It’s a small restaurant with a tiny kitchen so if it’s busy, you may wait for your food but it’s so worth it. I got the salmon and it was probably the best salmon I’ve ever had. Really delicious. Go when you’re in the mood to take your time and fully enjoy your experience. Highly recommended!

This small menu is full of quality. My French Pinot noir was excellent and they make a nice Aperol spritz. We had two each. I opted for the salmon with broccoli and smashed potatoes, all done perfectly (medium rare), crispy herbed small smashed, and perfectly steamed, precut and aesthetically arranged broccoli. My husband had the special lobster ravioli, the owners recipe in a cognac tomato bisque. He loved it! It is smaller French portions that we much appreciate and it left us room for their yummy pear dessert. All that for under $140 incl tip makes it a great value in our city. We’ll also look forward to trying their burger and truffle fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup on casual nights! Romin is a personable and gracious owner. It will be a regular spot for us.

Met a friend here for a couple drinks and had a great time! The inside is clean and cozy. Great wine selection, and the owner even poured us a couple wines to taste. We didn’t order food but apparently all the dishes are made from scratch! Everything looked and smelled delicious

Food was excellent. The butternut squash ravioli was my favorite. The Caesar salad with chicken was very good. The chicken in it was tasty. Friend ordered the steak and said it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely go again soon.
