I hate to give a negative review, however, after paying $15 for a roll of dry crunchy rice which my wife was directed to get out of a refrigerator after being assured it was fresh made I have to say my experience wasn’t very good. I have eaten plenty of amazing sushi in my life and this was not it.

I just can’t say enough good things about this food. Everything is soooo phenomenal. All the soups are killer, the sushi is so so so fresh, banh mi is to die for. I had the bento special tonight and it was amazing and came with so much food and soup for $20. Heavenly.

Prices are insane. How are you going to charge 14 dollars for a cucumber avocado roll and the same 14 dollars for a crazy over the top roll? Their poke bowls are the same price as 1 roll for some reason. The pricing just doesn’t make sense. Feels random and isnt adjusted to what or how much an ingredient is used. Chang Thai has avocado rolls for 6 and amazing rolls for 10-15. The amount of food I can get there for quality and price beats spending almost double at Supa Spice. I couldn’t recommend this place no matter how much I’d like to support local businesses.

Edit: After speaking with the incredibly kind owner they explained that the maki rolls they make are not traditional maki rolls and encouraged us to order from the counter for a fresher roll next time. From start to finish the staff was kind and receptive which can be very difficult in these awkward situations.

This place rocks!! Its takeout/grab n go style so very convenient for my work life. I got sushi, chicken chronic bowl, beef and broccoli, curry chicken, and soup for family dinner. Everything was amazing and so fresh. Authenticity anyone? This place has it. Will be returning soon.

Alright everyone.. If you’re from (or visiting) the northeast kingdom of Vermont and believe that traveling across boarders, or to Newport is going to find you the best sushi; then think again… Not only is Sue a brilliant chef, she’s also a wonderful person. So talented, I find it difficult to justify going anywhere else. Now, I have heard rumors of possibly having fresh sashimi in the beautiful small town of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.. If these rumors are true; competitor’s beware!! Even if this rumor is fabricated from the ether… Sushi, and Thai Cuisine lovers unite! This place is amazing!
