A no frills Chinese restaurant which serves absolutely delicious food! Huge portion sizes, good prices and amazing taste make it one of the best restaurants in Austin. So many Chinese restaurants skimp on rice which is one of the cheapest foods but at this restaurant you will not have to worry about running out. We always get the dinner portions for lunch so that way there is plenty left over for dinner! Family owned and operated, service is fast, friendly and efficient!!

Don’t let a few bad reviews fool you. Pretty much all of the bad reviews are due to GrubHub or delivery services. Do yourself a favor, come in or pick it up if you don’t want to risk a bad experience due to the delivery and you’ll get some of the best Chinese food in Austin! It’s a small, clean mom and pop operation that will seat up to a party of 10 at most. I tried the Kung Pao chicken, house fried rice, chicken lo mein, hot and sour soup and eggrolls on this trip here with my family. The eggrolls were the only thing that was her average, everything else was awesome and above the quality you normally get here in Austin. Don’t ask me why, but for some reason, with all the restaurants in Austin, good Chinese food is so hard to fine. The vegetables were very fresh and not undercooked like most Chinese food. The hot and sour soup has a great flavor to it and not watered down like most places. If you’re looking for a big fancy restaurant, this isn’t your place, but if you’re looking for quality food at a very reasonable price, you’ve got to give this place a try! Can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years and I barely just found this place, definitely coming back!!

It really hurts my heart to say this, as I’ve been loyal to super China for several years due to their accuracy and speed. They’ve started slipping in the past few months. Missing items here and there. Today we got no rice worth our food, they forgot the drinks and the spring rolls were rolled either so loosely or hurriedly that they fell apart when you picked them up. Very disappointed that my go to is likely going to be retired. I hope you guys bounce back.

My review is a generous four stars for the fast service. Portions are very generous. However veggies were lacking in my dish. If you’re looking for a quick meal, this is your place. But if it’s authentic Chinese food taste that you’re looking for, you might be disappointed as I was. But for a quick meal, I will go again and be very sure to give specific asks.

Super China is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever tried in my entire life. I was so committed to my prior local Chinese spot but have not been back since I discovered Super China.
