This cozy little restaurant was crammed full of people. The wait for an order is close to 15 minutes so that explains the crowd. This place has a lot of tourist coming. Their open face dumplings are unique and very different from what you would normally consider in the shape of a dumpling. It resembles a fried egg roll. Dip it with the side of chill sauce and you are all set. I didn’t care much for the spicy beef dried noodles since it was full of fat. They accept credit cards once you make a purchase of at least $12.00.

One of my favorite places in Chinatown! Had Fried Pork and Chive Dumplings that were super crunchy and full of flavor. Also shared the Pork House Bao which were super delicious! Probably my favorite bun in the city (Does Contain Peanuts) Lastly I had the Beef and Hot Spicy Soup! It’s my go to and is full of noodles and beef, but my favorite part is the broth! Not super spicy, but enough to make you blow your nose. With those 3 items and another item my fiancé got, it was only 31 bucks, and left us full!!! Also, they were quick with service and brought our food to us and made sure we had the correct items. Seating is first come first serve, but always able to find a table quickly!!! 10/10 will always be back.

Got the Szechuan style dumpling #112. They were delicious, full of curry and spice flavor. Amazing value at $6 for 10 dumplings. This is one of the more congested chinatown restaurants I went to, so be ready to push a bit. Kudos to the employees working there – takes a bit of grit to work in that kind of environment.

This place was packed when we visited, but the line moved quickly and the orders were given out just as fast. The food is great although we only tried the fried pork & chive and the hot sesame noodles. The price is super reasonable it was around $13 for both items.

Got the steamed pork dumplings with hot chili oil. 9.0 These were delicious and for the price what not to like here? You will get 10 dumplings too which is just enough to enjoy. It’s a little tight inside this place but the wait time wasn’t bad at all.

This is your classic hidden gem. The place is very small, but very efficient. We got in, ordered food, found a table, ate and were out within 30 minutes. We enjoyed the steamed dumplings and the hot sesame noodles. Both were absolutely delicious.

Amazing cheap eats! We got there an hour before closing and went through the line pretty fast. We had the hot and spicy beef noodle (soup), the Mount Qi noodle (soup), and a plate of regular dumplings. The beef noodle soup was so rich and flavorful, it overshadowed the Mount Qi soup, which would’ve been great on its own. The hand pulled noodles have just the right amount of chewiness. Really yummy. The Mount Qi soup is a bit more acidic in flavor, and has more veggies. Even though it says spicy, none if it tasted spicy to us (Asians). You can amp it up with the chili oil provided at every table. The dumpling filling were juicy and very meaty in a good way! Everything is served in take-out containers. No bathrooms.

We had the pork belly noodles which were really super tasty, fresh and spicy. My husband loved it. Unfortunately the noodles with vegetables (which were just Pak Choi) and egg tasted boring and uninspired. So you really have to like and eat meat to visit this place. It’s a busy and stressful place to eat, so don’t expect to come down here for a relaxed dinner. We were happy to leave the crowded area. For a fast stop it’s okay.

The name says it all. Unpretentious, delicious, noisy, crowded and cheap; everything I wanted in my first Chinatown noodle shop experience! Pictures are Mala tofu (have kleenex on hand as mala means “spicy and numbing”, pork house bao which taste like a little cloud from heaven wrapped around strips of tasty, tender pork and lastly, both fried and steamed pork and chives dumplings. All that for around $25 in NYC.

First time coming here. I found this place off a TikTok video. The dumplings were so good and the chili oil sauce really sets it apart. Noodles were also fantastic. Will definitely be back.
