Our first time here and we were blown away! The ambience is perfect , the setting is casual yet elegant. The staff were great and they were very attentive to your need. The food is amazing, head sushi chef Frenky definitely exceeded our expectations! The sushi were fresh and very tasty. The menu he curated were out of this world good. Love everything about the sushi we ordered ( we had #2,4,6) and we forgot to get the famous crispy rice and got them for to go and the hype was true, it was delicious! We also had 2 ramens, and it was portioned perfectly and taste great! Will def come back, I love this restaurant! Thank you chef Frenky!

Decided to stop by Suram since I was searching the area for a good sushi spot and I was blown away. Coming from Toronto and having tried tons of spots, I can say Suram did not disappoint! Service was on point. The descriptions matched the dishes perfectly and everything was so fresh. Gun was very helpful and hospitable. Will definitely come back next time I visit NYC!! 10/10 quality

This place is very cozy, we walked in around 8pm there was a line but was seated right away if you don’t mind the bar seating. The tables are very close to each other anyway so not much privacy either way, the service is great, our waitress is fast and friendly.

Wow. This restaurant checked every box. Just planned on getting sushi, after trying the food we had to order more. We then ended up with a table full of food. Started with the miso, seaweed salad, Yellow tale jalapeño, shrimp tempura (best shrimp tempura I’ve had), all amazing. The sushi was one of the best sushi I’ve had which is saying a lot as I’m an absolute sushi fanatic. Ended it off with some mochi. We had a great conversation with Gun, funny guy. What an amazing time and will most definitely come again and a place to recommend to others. Thank you!

I was craving both ramen and sushi and saw this place just in the nick of time. I truly enjoyed everything I ordered! The service was great and the newly built space was really nicely designed. Heads up, it seems like chicken was the only non-fish, meat option for meals. It wasn’t a big deal since everything still tasted delicious! The prices were reasonable and I loved that they gave the option to pay via QR code.

Had a very good dinner here, we live a few blocks away and have wanted to try. I myself love Tabata, which is in a seedier block next to the Port Authority but my family love Suram more for the atmosphere. The food was good, we had ramens (I had the Tan Tan, which was solid). We also got a couple of rolls, which were very good. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.
