Great place to stop into after our day at the beach. Cool beach atmosphere. Bartender/servers were very friendly. Started with the chips and salsa. And ended up ordering a bunch of different tacos and wings. Everything was very good and a great value for the prices. Drinks were alright. Looks like they have another separate lounge area with a pool table that looked really cool as well. Would come back again.

This was our first time visiting Surf Cantina, and I was surprised at how amazing this restaurant turned out to be. Our waitress was friendly and the drinks were excellent. We will definitely be back. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because I feel this restaurant is excellent for a night out with friends and a date night, but bringing little kids here will be hard due to the atmosphere and tables.

I ordered food from here for take out while vacationing nearby. The tacos were yummy and they have vegan options but they do fall apart. The nachos are delicious and they serve them in a box which I thought was cool and unique. The street corn is a bit strange, I thought it would be taken off the cob. It was served on the cob and drenched in sour cream sauce. Not what I was expecting. The staff are friendly.

In my experiences the best food is their HH food. Dinner options were kinda mid and not really worth the hype or the money. Still, I’d return again. I was definitely a fan of the drinks though I must say. They make good margaritas. Service was good. And who knew, but the whole place turns into a bopin club at night! Not sure what time or days this happens but the atmosphere is a vibe.

Fine. Good tequila selection and ambience but the food leaves a bit to be desired. Tortillas could use some major improvement; they fell apart instantly and tasted, frankly, straight out of a wrapper. Probably not worth the $.

The restaurant is gorgeous & clean inside with a cool lounge area, bar, and dining area. Fantastic, quick, and friendly service! Unfortunately, the food fell flat of expectations (I got the cauliflower tacos, which came with rice and beans). Might try again sometime or just come back for a drink!

When this place first opened, it was an easy 5 stars. Now? I can barely believe it’s the same restaurant. The service is decent enough and the staff are all friendly, the atmosphere is awesome, but the food has been so obviously downgraded, while at the same time the price seems to have increased! I got 3 fish tacos for $22 and there was barely enough fish to fill one. All in all, I would like to light a candle for the old Surf Cantina kitchen staff. Wherever you are, we miss you.

Flat bread is delish. Good nachos. Enjoyed my avocado tacos. They were lightly breaded and fried, yet the avocado inside was fresh and nicely firm. Great pickled onions and sauces. We all enjoyed our meal. Great vibe with friendly staff. The girl that sat us said, “We are really happy to have you.” So welcoming. Good drinks too!

Chef Fran + co have done it again! This place is amazing, top to bottom! The atmosphere is laid back with great music. Delicious flavorful (read: strong) drinks, stellar appetizers- the Thai peanut chicken wings and miso jalapeño wings are to DIE for. Our whole party raved about their main courses- There wasn’t one bad dish in the group. So many authentic fresh flavors and generous portions- we can’t wait to go back!

As my young adult child and 3 of her friends just had dinner at this establishment and their waitress Julia was rude, whispering to the manager and giving these 4 young adults dirty looks while they ate their food quietly. If you do not like your job then quit, but do not be rude to your patrons. They did say their food of chips n salsa, carna asada, pork belly tacos, gringos and the smash burger was good and the atmosphere was cute, but the waitress left a bad taste in their mouth. Be a better human and be mindful of your actions.
