3 stars because I ordered once before, and the food was good. However, I have been listening to the sounds of the restaurant since the young man answered, asked me to hold, and then set the phone down (15 minutes now). I don’t know where the phone is, but I imagine he can see that it’s off of the base, or at least that there are no calls coming in. I’m really hopeful that he will pick up, apologize, and take my order. If not, I’ll order somewhere else and try here another day because I’m pretty turned off for now.

The $25 hollar is amazing. It’s enough food for two people. Every piece of seafood, corn, and potato was seasoned and cooked really well. The cheesy grits where on point. They were thick and just right on the cheese. The turkey greens are phenomenal. Reminded me of Mama’s greens.

My hubby and I ordered two shrimp po’boys. They were delicious. The sauce was so good not too spicy. The bread was fresh and the shrimp cooked well. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is one of the best po’boys I’ve had.

I just left Surf’s Up. The atmosphere is wonderful. The wait staff is so sweet, accommodating and patient. The food is great, freshly made and they listen to how you want you it made. The prices for the menu items are very reasonable.

The food was actually great! I would go out of my way to go back if the price wasn’t so high but I know inflation has been rising and food costs are exponentially high. I loved the food truly! I has fried green tomatoes and it was actually amazing. And then I had the bomb sandwich and it truly was great. You guys should think of making a garlic aioli sauce. It would be that much better ! Customer service was awesome too.

Everyone was super friendly to me when I went in to pick up an order, it’s a very laid-back themed in the restaurant, I’ve never had any issues at this place I highly recommend you go and try the wings and fry combo it was very filling I’m a 6,3 220 pound male and I couldn’t finish all of it

I finally went to Surf’s Up Oak Park and they did not disappoint! I ordered “Da Bomb Shrimp & Lobster tail Sandwich” topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and their house made remoulade sauce (I got the grilled option however, you can get it fried). My order was made fresh and when I tell you my tastebuds were satisfied!!! The shrimp and lobster were seasoned to perfection (healthy portions too) and the bread was so soft. I tried to eat the sandwich as slow as I could (to savor each bite) and I was sad after my last bite LOL … An honorable mention goes to the manager Sean who recommended the sandwich as their best. He was friendly, accommodating, and kind. Besides the fresh, great tasting food, he is the reason I’ll be back. Got to try their Hennessy wings next!!!
