I didn’t realize that if you order bourbon they charge you for the drink and an additional $4 for the ice cube. That’s a first. I was here for a wine/food pairing which was pretty good. The chef did well. I will have to say his Vietnamese caramel chicken was tasty but too sweet and I have never seen it served with peanuts. The chowder was delicious but I don’t know if it is a regular menu item. It was advertised as $75 a head but the Bill for 2 ended up being $228. Interesting.

Scratch kitchen. Great twists on classic comfort foods. Mrs. Wally and I both got the Fried Chicken and Waffles. Bonus. The waffle is made from Mac N Cheese!!!!

Very good experience. The mushroom risotto is delish . The Surv Caesar with white anchovies was excellent. Very good service the three times we have eaten here. Manager is nice and visible most of the time. We are adding this to our favorites.

We were seated, told our server will be by for a drink order. 20 minutes, no server. Finally the guy who seated us took our drink order. Then a other guy came by and offered to take our drink order. Drinks took about 15 minutes (keep in mind, the place was not busy at all). We still didn’t know who our server was 45 minutes in. Finally a young kid came over and said he was our server and took our food order. Food came out fairly promptly. Food is above average. We didn’t stay for dessert. I would not come back for dine in. I would order a pizza or two for takeout though….they were very good.

We flew in from California and had a party of 12 for dinner. It seemed that the majority of people enjoyed their dinner choices. However, two of us ordered the Caesar salad and neither of us finished it. I asked for extra dressing hoping it would make it palatable but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The server never asked how the food was even when she took our plates and had to notice that my entire salad was still on the plate virtually uneaten. I would have told the server had she asked. We also waited a significant amount of time for drink reorders.

Andres our server was a friendly, bright, and attentive young man. The food was delicious. I had the mushroom risotto with the beef tips. Hubby had the half rack of lamb dinner. We loved the atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Very rarely do I give a restaurant 5 stars but this place deserved it. Everyone exclaimed how good the food was and how much they enjoyed themselves. For the most part the prices were decent and I loved just about everything I consumed. The ambiance was nice. Our waitress Kristin did her job so well she made the experience worth 5 stars. I can’t wait to come back!!!
