I really should rate this place as 1 star so we can keep this hidden gem a secret… but the place was too great to rate lower . The service was good and the food was outstanding, a little pricey but if you get the meal it’s a good size. My wife and I split one of the meals (15 or 18 pcs?) Can’t remember and grabbed and extra roll and almost didn’t finish. Sushi 201 is worth a trip to stop by and the staff were friendly.

By far the worst Asian food I’ve ever had. The egg rolls were completely burnt and black. The steamed buns were the wrong ones. And the noodles with shrimp somehow ended up being just vegetables with noodles. Even all of this would’ve been fine, but all of the food tasted horrible. Do not eat here, go eat literally anywhere else. There’s a great Asian place near Palmetto Armory if you want Asian.

This is the first review I’ve ever written, but wanted to let others know… Go to Wild Ginger if you’re looking for good hibachi and sushi. One star because they were open on Tuesday and Wild Ginger is not. Paid almost $90 for dinner and most of it went in the garbage. We are faithful customers at Wild Ginger and this experience reminded us why. Like the front desk host said about the quality of our to-go bag they handed us our food in – “wack.” Would not recommend.

Love this place! Found it a few years ago and it’s my go-to sushi spot. Food always comes out quickly and it’s never cold unless it’s supposed to be. I hate that the dining room is always empty because the food and service are outstanding! If you’re looking for sushi, hibachi, or a nice dessert, this is definitely the place.

This is our favorite sushi place! We’ve been coming here since they first opened seven or so years ago. We dine here at least twice a week because the food is excellent, service is great, and the menu offers something for everyone. Among our family favorites are: Charleston Roll, Crunch Roll, Salmon Roll, Teriyaki Chicken, Hibachi Shrimp, Yakisoba, Salmon Poke Bowl. We’re crazy about their sponge cake with chocolate sauce, served warm with whipped cream on top. And as a self-declared Summerville sweet tea aficionado, I dare say their sweet tea (mixed by the manager, Kotomi) is among the best, if not THE BEST, sweet tea in town! It’s perfectly steeped with a nice golden color, never bitter, and perfectly sweet.

Perfect, cozy place to dine on sushi !! Wow! Best fresh sushi! The rangoons was so delicious that started an amazing dinner!! I had the G.M.C which was Devine! My friend got the sushi boat which was amazing!! Cool presentation! Hidden gem that should be had by all! Other friend had the hibachi chicken which he enjoyed and looked delicious! Perfect for small circle of friends or a nice dating spot!
