I definitely liked this sushi restaurant. I’ll go back. It wasn’t the cheapest sushi, but it was pretty tasty. 3 rolls, 3 nirgir, and one jalapeno poppers about $60. Nirgir fell apart, and the tempura rolls didn’t have much tempura on it. Jalapeno poppers were very cream cheesy, so good!

Took a few people to sushi Avenue for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was in a strip mall so little small. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and patient as we looked over the large menu of sushi, nigiri, and sashimi options. The food was pretty good. The barbecue short ribs roll had a weird flavor with the fish and beef mix together. The potstickers were delicious. The eggrolls were so so. When I said, I was going to review the restaurant, they brought out the BBQ roll with little heart shaped design, which was a nice touch.

This is one of our two favorite local Gilbert sushi places that we are regulars at. We think it’s a good value with good food and good prices. Our fave is the Sushi Ave roll which is saucy, sweet, and a little spicy. We usually balance it out with A French Kiss roll which has tangy ponzu and is spicy too or with an Over the Rainbow roll which is very fresh tasting, with lots of different fish.

Excellent sushi! We had the Philly roll, ultimate California roll and mango roll. The waitress was friendly and ready to fill water, etc. I gave service a 4 because they forgot to bring us our edamame salad and never recorded that we had ordered the mango roll. I would definitely go back.

Hole in the wall place, happy hour all day and great prices on rolls. We love the potstickers and miso soup! Went yesterday around 3pm and it was slow and got our food super quick. I always bring friends here and will continue to do so because it’s exactly what you want from a local sushi spot.

Great sushi,great happy hour prices on sushi,always fresh. My family loves the King Kong roll and Arizona roll. They also have good teriyaki chicken. They are fast considering sometimes there is only 1 waitress waiting on the entire restaurant. The waiters are always running doing their best. They turn tables quickly. We find it better to get there before 5:30 to avoid a wait.

Literally the BEST sushi I’ve ever had! And that’s coming from someone that lived in SoCal for 50 years. I now live in UT and can’t find a decent place. When I visit my friend in AZ we go here daily because I have to get my fix. I highly recommend the Arizona Roll, but honestly all their sushi is fresh and delicious!

Me and the girlfriend love this place. Have been here multiple timesnow and enjoyed the food and service every time. Prices are fair with their all day happy hour and you won’t be disappointed with the sushi. Inside is clean, relatively small, but has a nice feel. It’s a fun place to go with some friends or for a more casual date night. We got the Rainbow, Red Boy, Salmon Tempura, and Double Spicy rolls and an order of the potstickers. All of them were very tasty but the double spicy rolls were next level good. Definitely will be returning here for more sushi soon. The staff is friendly and quick, plus the sushi is made right there behind a counter so it comes out quick and fresh.
