Great quality sushi at an affordable price. The 12 piece omakase $50, they also have a longer and high tier omakase for $100. Great space and friendly staff. All the pieces that we had were very fresh and well made. Worth trying if you want to have some good sushi without breaking the bank.

The standard omakase is $50 for 12 pieces and you can upgrade to the $100 set. Overall the quality is decent although certain pieces were not really worth it like the ikura/eggs and eel since you can easily get these at any H-mart. The ebi/shrimp, scallop, and tuna are great.

This is the best sushi I’ve ever had in my entire life. The atmosphere is unmatched – it’s for small groups of up to 8. The host Anthony is a party and so personable and attentive. The chefs I’ve had each time are so friendly and knowledgeable (Chef Kevin pictured) and the bartenders serve up the best cocktails and sake (shout-out to Nick, a mixing master!). They have a 12 and 17 course omakase and every piece melts in your mouth. Such an amazing experience and worth every penny!!!

Made a reservation for a Wednesday at 6pm for two people. There’s an option on Yelp to make a reservation but there is never any availability no matter what time I check. So you are better off just texting the number. They respond very quickly and it was easy to get a reservation then.

Excellent Omakase experience. It was pricey but a lot of fun and the sushi was probably the best I’ve ever had.

Some of the most amazing sushi I’ve ever had. This was my first experience having Omakase and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I did a lot of research beforehand comparing reviews and prices for Omakase in the area and this is for sure the best deal and amazing food! At the bar we struck up conversation with another patron who said the quality was comparable to when he lived in Japan.

Very cool spot. Fish was wonderful but rice could use just a little more work. Cocktails were fabulous, I recommend the shiso Southsider! My husband’s martini was also very well balanced. For the price this is a great place for a date night or something like that. A bit pricier than a casual night out at a place like Honshu in JC, but much easier on the wallet than a full scale NYC omakase place. Service was great and the sushi chefs were very friendly.

Do not think twice. Go enjoy this Omakase experience. It is intimate, affordable, and most importantly delicious. We take all our out of town friends here and they are always left full and jealous (as Omakase hasn’t really hit suburban America). I love the BBQ eel and the shrimp. I want to go back now as I write this.

Phenomenal!! We went with the bougie omakase experience and it was well worth the price. The sushi was super fresh and delicious. The chef was very friendly, talented, and informative. Our bartender was awesome. Every drink we ordered was fantastic. Food, drinks, vibes all were on point and out of this world. Definitely recommend. We can’t wait to go back.

My first Omekase experience. I went with a friend who is an Omekase connoisseur and he liked it as well. Definitely like the vibe and the chef. The place does get super booked and because of the demand you only have 1 hour to complete the meal, but this more due to the place being small. Will definitely return again sometime. They recommend to eat the sushi by the hand here btw. Thanks again chef 🙂
