Trust me, I know good sushi and I’m really picky about the rice, size/freshness of fish of my nigiris. This place has one of the best omakase menu I’ve tried in NYC in this price range. Staffs are super fun too. Definitely coming back.

All I can say is WOW! Omikase menu is great, but if you let your chef take you down his road it gets even better! Great atmosphere, great people, BETTER FOOD. So good that we’re going back for another time on our trip.

We were in the mood for sushi before seeing Back to the Future and this was right around the corner from the Winter Garden Theater. I didn’t know what to expect when we had to go down some stairs from street level. We were warmly greeted, and even though we didn’t have reservations, they sat us at the sushi bar. I would make reservations next time though to be safe as it only seats 8 people. We received our sushi pieces one by one and they were delicious! So happy we went.

Literally the best dining experience of my life. Every bite was amazing. Good vibe, music, drinks. The place only seats 9 people and felt intimate and personal.

Loved this place!!! Our first omakase and it set the bar high! Very intimate restaurant with only a handful of seats. There were two chefs taking care of two parties when we were there. The menu was great for the price (only $60/person). The only con would be the speed of the meal, felt a little rushed but honestly still a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!

The food was delicious, the chefs were so fun to chat with, and the ambience was overall cool, comfortable, and welcoming. They were very punctual with each reservation and each omakase course. I definitely want to try their 60-minute reservation next time.

Your dinner will last 30min max. We arrived at 6:27 and were given a 100$ per person bill 35min later, at 7:02. Food is good, but they serve it very fast so that you finish the menu in 30 minutes. Then, the next guests start to arrive and you have to leave the place. Omakase is supposed to be an experience where you savor delicious food – not an overpriced food eating contest. Other than that, the cook and waiters were very friendly.

Service was really attentive, had such a fun time. The $60 omakase itself was really filling. The Big Mac was fun too although it definitely makes the meal less of a bargain. Great for a night out
