Great, standard omakase place. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend this place. They have some great set menus and all the sushi is so well prepared and thought out. The fish was incredibly fresh and the way the sushi chefs paired all the flavors together were so well picked. I will be coming back here again and highly recommend everyone to too!

I can not overstate how perfect my experience was here. Came here to celebrate after my wedding and the staff was immediately so nice and congratulatory. Ordered the 17 piece omakase and every single piece was just a total homerun. The pairings were creative and the fish selection was high quality and super tasty. Every plate was just beautifully presented and sitting at the counter for a front row view really added to the experience.

I went to Sushi by M for my birthday. Got the 10 piece Omakase and hand roll and also ordered a couple hand rolls on the side. The food was good but did not leave satisfied. The uni also did not taste fresh and left a bad taste in my mouth. Besides the uni, all the other food was good but nothing tasted amazing. The atmosphere was okay, minimalistic decor but was pretty empty at the time we went so service was quick. Staff was great. Our waiter was quick and efficient and was friendly as well. With all that said I would only eat here again if I was in the area and it was convenient. The food was very average.

My wife and I were celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary, and we came here for dinner. The experience was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and was so nice and talkative with us, wishing us well. The food though? Amazing. The best quality fish, and best preparation of the fish, that I’ve ever experienced. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the city!

This was my first omakase experience and it blew me away. We each purchased the 17 piece option for $100 and a $55 750mL bottle of sake. I performed considerable research on omakase spots in the city prior to our visit and can say that was a bargain. The flavors were phenomenal and complex while the atmosphere was relaxed but lively. Our chef was extremely friendly and gave us info on every serving. The playing of 50 cent’s “in da club” with a candle in a sushi piece for a birthday celebration further added to this place’s charm. Safe to say sushi by m made me an instant omakase addict.

What an outstanding experience I had here! Came here for my 29th birthday with my boyfriend and we had the time of our lives, no really! Between the sake and the excellent sushi, we had such great conversation with our server all night and eventually even got to meet the amazing M. Highlight of my night, the trip and my birthday! Sushi was top notch and welllll worth the money! Tons of pieces for the price we paid, though I can’t remember exactly which set we got (you can blame the birthday shots for that). I do remember also getting some a la carte options that were delicious including the uni topped with caviar. Friggin party in my mouth.The ambiance? Cozy and sophisticated. You could tell everyone there on that Saturday night was there celebrating something or another and the staff took utmost care of everyone. Atleast we felt that way!

Reasonably priced omakase with the most lively staff! They always try to offer a little more than what you expect. For example, the first time we went they gave us a free soju shot, and the second time (couple months later) the waitress recognized me, and the chef gave us the Hokkaido uni that was not technically included in the 12 piece set that we ordered. I always have a good time chatting with the staff and enjoying the food, can see my self returning in the future!

This was one of the best omakase experiences I have had. Each piece was unique and delicious, and the sushi chef deftly incorporated my annoying food allergies without compromising the quality… and also didn’t make me feel in any way like I was being a pain. Seasonal fish was included, so the variety was exceptional, and each piece was a miniature with of art. Definitely sit at the sushi counter so you can watch the artists at work! Excellent value and highly recommended.
